What’s up Splinterlands players!

I hope all of you are doing well in your life and also managing some time from your busy life and enjoying this game on a daily basis. For us splinterlands players, the current time is a bit calm because we just finished playing another ranked season and I hope all of you have collected your Glint token rewards by now. For me, I played the last ranked season Mostly at Diamond League and in the last couple of days, I have been fortunate enough to climb up into the Champ League and throughout the last ranked season, I have earned a total of 340k + Glint tokens. Well, that's a nice amount for me as I can buy a bunch of energies with the amount and keep playing more to earn more SPS or I can just try my luck on the card draws as well or buy Merit to open more gladius packs. Anyway, another ranked season has started already and we still have almost 14 days in hand and also, I have a total of 346k + Glint saved in my in-game wallet, my glint amount would be much more but I spend most of my Glint tokens in the last season to buy draws and energies. The glint token is a token limited to be used only in the game and it doesn't have any monetary value, nor it is tradable. So, it would be best for all of us to make our personal strategies in order to grow depending on how much reward or gladius cards you require and owning right now.

Now, let’s move on to the main topic of this post as today, I will be talking about some More Gladius cards with you all. This time I decided to share my favourite attack-less tank cards that belong to the Gladius edition and believe me when I say they may be your best friends in some particular match rulesets. In top of that, the newly introduced Weapon Training ability has changed the old gameplay style completely by making these attack-less cards more powerful. So, without wasting any further time, let us begin..

image.png

KRASH WANDERFORD

The first Gladius card that I would Like to mention here is none other than the Krash Wanderford and certainly not because this card comes first when browsing for attackless Gladius cards. The Krah is an amazing card I found out about its potential after using it with weapon training ability cards. This Gladius card belongs to the Fire element and it has 0 attack at 8 speed with 9 health along with a whooping 5 abilities on its back at max level. It is a common type of card, so it requires a total of 400 BCX to be upgraded to the max level. Let us now take a further look at its stats and abilities league-wise below.

Bronze

At level 3, this card holds 7 speed and 7 health along with 2 abilities, Bloodlust and Swift, both of which it gets from its initial level. With the Swift ability, it will increase all friendly monster’s speed by +1. On the other hand, the bloodlust ability will increase all the stats of this card whenever it successfully kills down an enemy card. So even at the bronze level, this is a serious card which can protect you with its large health bar and become a good attacker if you make a combo with weapon training cards.

Silver

When this card reaches level 5, it possesses 8 speed and 7 health and also gets a new ability called Thorn from level 4. Now with the thorns ability, whenever a melee attacker hits this card, it will reverse damage the attacker card back with this ability. So this ability can be very beneficial against melee attackers.

Gold

When you upgrade this card to level 8, it gets 8 speed at 8 health and also gets the Return Fire ability which it gets from level 7. With the help of this new ability, anytime a ranged card hits this card, that enemy attacker will receive reverse damage just like the thorns ability for melee ones. So now, your Krash is equally deadlier against both of these types of attacker cards.

Diamond / Champion

When this card finally gets upgraded to its max level 10, it gets 8 speed at 9 health and also gets a new ability called Dodge. Now the Dodge ability will give this card even more chance to evade an incoming melee or ranged attack. The Krash at level 10 already possesses 8 speed which is very good and now adding Dodge ability on top of it, this card now just become almost an untouchable card for melee and ranged cards.

HELMET KHARAFAX

The next attack-less Gladius card I would like to share is of course the Helmet Kharafax and I guess many of you have already used this card because of its small mana cost. Yes, I am talking about the Helmet card which belongs to the Life element and costs just 2 mana to be used in battles. This is a common type of card that needs a total of 400 BCX cards to upgrade it to max level 10. This card comes with 4 speed, 2 armour and 6 health along with 5 abilities at max level and let us now take a look at how this card grows on higher leagues below.

image.png

Bronze

At level 3, this card possesses 3 speed at 1 armour with 4 health and also gets 2 abilities- Bloodlust and Scavenger, both of which it gets from it first level. The scavenger ability will increase its max health limit by +1 each time a card dies in that particular match. On the other hand, the bloodlust ability will increase all of its stats by +1 each time it kills down an enemy.

Silver

When you upgrade this card to level 5, it gets 3 speed at 1 armour and 5 health and it also gets another new ability called Void. With this new ability, mow this monster will receive reduced damage from magic attackers and no damage if the attacker is only attacking with 1 magic attack.

Gold

Upon upgrading to the gold level 8, this card now receives 4 speed at 1 armour with 6 health and it also receives a new ability called Magic Reflect from level 7. With the Magic Reflect ability, whenever this card receives a magic attack it will reverse attack that card back with reduced damage just like Thorns or Return Fire.

Diamond / Champion

When you finally upgrade this card to max level 10, it possesses 4 speed at 2 armour with 6 health and it get another new ability called Return Fire. With this new ability now this monster will reverse attack whenever it gets hit by an enemy ranged attack. Now you can clearly see how powerful this card can become at max level and even more if you use this card alongside weapon training cards.

That’s all for today readers and I hope you have enjoyed the 2 monsters that I talked about at above. Do you also own these 2 cards and use them often in battles?

Let me know in the comments below and I will be seeing you all in my next post.

Wish you all good luck on all of your future Splinterlands matches.

I always thought it was just a joke or meme card, I didn't understand why these Bloodust attributes weren't getting the bonuses. But now it's very informative how to use it in the best way.
