The Queen of Range Monster !!

what's up Splinter Player around the world how are you doing? I want to share my battle using one of my own account that played in Gold League Format.And this time, I want to share the Must Have card for this ruleset. That is Queen of Crows. This monster is the crutial card that very needed especially in Going to Distance ruleset.
Whenever i can rent this monster, in this ruleset i will having up to 60-80% i can win the battle. But,whenever i dont have this card rented. Yeah, i can barely touch 20% win. Thats why i said above that Must Have card. Lets see how the strategy for using Queen of Crows

Okay since you guys know that the ruleset is Ferocity lets knowing this ruleset a little bit deeper.This ruleset description is

Only units with ranged attacks may be used.
Consider including units with the Close Range and Return Fire abilities in your lineup.

So, basically this ruleset makes both player can only bringing just range monster only. So,it will be hard to arrange in this ruleset. Both player need to reconsider bringing 1 or 2 monster that having Close range ability to be able survive getting damage as a tanker. And it is very rare that monster with high Health that have Close Range ability. And as i said above Queen of Crows is one card that really good as a tanker and debuff.
So, lets see how Queen of Crows work in this battle

Strategy Phase

As you can see in the picture above this battle only have 2 ruleset. The first ruleset is Reverse Speed that means the lowest speed monster is the fastest one. And this is one of the ruleset that i hate the most. Very hard and not entertaining at all. The second ruleset is Going to Distance that means both player can only using range monster in this battle. The manacap that can be used in this abttle is 34 which is below average i guess. And the only element that cannot be used in this battle is Dragon Element. So, that means both player cannot using Quix as summoner which is Quix is the best summoner whenever dealing with range monster. So, my choices is either using water element that focusing attack and speed. Or using Death element that using Astral Entity that can gives dodge ability. Range attack will have affected to Dodge ability. So, the opponent having chance missing attacking my monster. Not guaranted if you have a bad luck. And this time i am using Death element and this is my strategy. You can look it in the table below

	Summoner	-2 Armor Dodge ability Resurrect	I am using this summoner because this summoner having pretty good ability that can helping my entire team to survive in this battle with giving my entire team dodge ability that make my entire team having 20% chance to dodge any melee or range attack. Also if my monster died it can get resurrect once using Astral Entity ability Resurrect.
	Filler		I am utilize Martyr ability that Venari Marksrat have. So, after this monster can gives buff to the next monster twice when combined with my Astral Entity ability.
	Frontline Tanker		I am using this monster because this monster is really OP for this ruleset. This monster having close range ability that can make this monster as a frontline tanker. This monster also having high health to be a tanker. Also this monster having headwind ability that can reduce opponent range monster attack too. Dont forget this monster also having slow that can reduce opponent speed and the last having return fire ability that can counter opponent range monster too.
	Second Tanker & Attacker		I am using this monster because this monster can be attaker or can be a frontline tanker if my Queen of Crows defeated. This monster having flying ability that can gives chance to dodge attack 20% and additional dodge ability from Astral Entity. So,this monster can be good as a frontline tanker too. Also this monster have close range ability that can make this monster can be a frontline tanker. And if opponent just leaving with one monster left the deathblow will active and gives double damage.
	Debuff Attacker		I am bringing this monster because this monster having shatter ability that can destroy opponent monster that having armor with just one single blow will shattering opponent armor. Also this monster having rust ability that can reduce opponent armor too. And amplify ability that can make opponent get more damage if hitting my Queen of Crows, since my Queen of crows having return fire ability.
	Buff Support		I am bringing this monster because this monster having protect ability that can adding my team mate additional armor. Also this monster have low cost mana that can be usefull for other team mates.
	Attacker		I am bringing this monster because this monster is having low cost and having pretty good attack that is 4 range attack. Also this monster having poison ability that will make this monster attack having chance to give opponent poison effect.

So, this is my strategy in this battle. I am hoping this strategy can be work in this ruleset battle. I am afraid my team can lose due the Reverse Speed ruleset. So, without further ado lets see how the battle going

Battlephase

Okay this time both player having almost same mind and idea. Using Astral Entity as summoner in order getting Dodge ability and Resurrect that can make 1 monster that first die get back alive again. Hoping that opponent did not using the same strategy as mine.

Round 1

As usual in first round, both parties got buff and debuff from both summoners and monsters.
In my Team got

• -2 Armor from opponent summoner Astral Entity
• Dodge ability from my Summoner Astral Entity
• -1 Range Attack from opponent Queen of Crows ability Headwind
• 2 Armor from my Ravenhood Warden ability Protect.

In opponent Team got

• -2 Armor from my Summoner Astral Entity
• Dodge ability from opponent Summoner Astral Entity
• -1 Range Attack from my Queen of Crows ability Headwind
• -1 Speed from my Queen of Crows ability Slow
• 2 Armor from opponent Ravenhood Warden ability Protect.

Lookin the opponent line up. I think i am just lucky enough that opponent did not bring maxed level of Queen of Crows and Weirding Warrior.That will make the battle outcome will be different. Also with the different skill of Queen of Crows, it makes have the different ability. That makes my team more slower due opponent Queen of Crows dont have Slow ability.Remember that the ruleset is Reverse Speed that will make slow will make opponent faster in this ruleset. And this time my Venari Marksrat die first. and gives my Queen of Crows buff. Also got Resurrected by my Summoner Astral Entity. And after that opponent Weirding Warrior defeated once again my Venari Marksrat. And it will make my Queen of Crows get buff again. And after that this time my team turn to attack. My Queen of Crows defeated opponent Venari Marksrat first and gives buff to opponent Queen of Crows and get Resurrected by opponent Astral Entity.Yeah because of the Reverse Speed ruleset. the opponent got advantage.

Round 2

In round 2 my Ravenhood Warden defeated opponent Venari Marksrat this time and gives buff again to opponent Queen of Crows. And this round too opponent Weirding Warrior got defeated by attacking my Queen of Crows due the Return Fire ability.And in this round too all opponent line up just leaving with one health remain due the counter attack to Return Fire ability. So, Return fire combined with Amplify ability is pretty usefull in this ruleset. Especially when the dodge did not fuction in this battle to my team.

Round 3

In round 3 opponent Ravenhood Warden defeated due the Return Fire ability and opponent Queen of Crows defeated too due the Return Fire combined with Amplify ability. So, in this round my Gargoya Devil moves to frontline and be a tanker and my range attack come back to normal. Also in this round my Soul Strangler defeated opponent Soul Strangler. And just leaving Dhampir Stalker with just 1 health remain. So absolutely in the next round opponent Dhampir Stalker will be defeated with my entire team.

The Queen of Range Monster !!

Conclution

After experiencing this battle i think using Return Fire combined with amplify ability is trully awesome. But, the cost is need pretty good tanker with high health. And i think that is not much monster with range attack that having high health in entire Splinterlands universe. Maybe Queen of Crows is one of range monster that have pretty complex ability that pretty good for countering Range monster. Especially when having maxed level of Queen of Crows. High health, close range ability,return fire ability,headwind ability. It will isolate opponent Range monster. If you have Ilthain as summoner and the life element active. I think using Ilthain is better than using Quix combined with Queen of Crows. But, i dont pretty sure. Cause Life element does not have many range monster that have high range attack. I think it still better using Quix or Dragon Element combined with Queen of Crows.
