My Reaction Towards Messages

Texting is something I would find interesting and sometimes annoying. Most people love texting instead of calling because they feel that through that means, one can understand clearly what they have to pass on to you. Most times, the text would become somehow annoying through some kinds of words.

Back in the days when call rates were so cheap, most people did find it possible to call instead of text, while some made use of calls just because they could not write. This is why voice text is being brought and included in WhatsApp.

Even though I hate short forms of messages, it saves time, and if it is through normal text messages, it saves money. One can be able to say things and text enough through short forms. Although I don't like it when one writes some kind of short word that I do not understand. Up until today, I still find it difficult to interpret ” lol”. Before now, I had seen someone typing **” Sup,” and I kept asking myself what that word meant. Before I got the real meaning, it took me some days.

There are so many things that have been getting me annoyed when it comes to texting. Some of them are texting me, asking if something is something you have not called. Most people love doing this. You can't text me asking for something from me when you have not asked verbally. Texting me cannot solve the problem because I can decide to say I do not see the message or messages even though they have been delivered from the other end. This means, in texting, there are lies attached to it. This is one of the reasons I love telling you on the phone before texting. I also want the same from my end.

Mostly, I would say I'm pleased to have some set aside rules when it comes to text messages. Among these rules are:

Typographical error: minding the way I place my messages is something I love so much. I always write clearly without making blunders, although no one is perfect, and I can say I'm not perfect as well. Even though it's not going to be correct grammatically, I would at least try my best to make it understandable.

Network-wise, I must make sure I have a good network just to ensure end-to-end delivery. Just like what I had said earlier, most people would deny seeing your messages even after delivery, claiming network problems. It has happened to me several times when I had to lie or not see the message where it has been delivered.

Finally, just like I had said before, words abbreviated that do not give any meaning except to the one typing it always makes me uncomfortable. Words I still can't figure out even up until now are "lol.”.

Not having a good network can affect my communication aspect of life as it can make my message not delivered. This is why I would love to have a good network while sending text messages.

Again, making blunders can bring bad records to my path. So, for my communication to be balanced, I always make sure I balance my writing tactics, although not perfectly anyway.
