Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - Theme: The Rebellion Packs

Greetings to all Splinterlands warlocks, I am here once again, and I welcome you all to my blog as well, Today, I write to submit and share my entry to the Splinterlands Social Media Challenge. This week again it's the rebellion theme challenge and as we discussed in last week's post we shall continue with it in this post as well.

As stated last week, the presale for this set of cards, or the rebellion packs started on the 18th of October and it is still active until all the packs are bought from the market. As of the time I was writing this article, the remaining rebellion packs were 220,023 Packs which can be seen from the screenshot shared below. It can be observed that about 13K plus more packs have been bought. We await to see if all the packs will be bought before the 30 days are over or not, and as of now, it is left with 21 days, 20 hours more for the presale to be over and the rebellion sets launched into Splinterlands gaming.

So far so good, I have bought four (4) rebellion packs and I still have plans of buying more when I get more DEC. My goal or aim is to own more than 10 rebellion packs and I am currently working on that as well. It is not that easy as a new Splinterlands player though but I will try my possible best to achieve my goal.

The abilities that this set of cards are coming up with are marvelous and I am seeing to it that they would be strong and difficult monsters to eliminate easily. There are four new abilities that this rebellion cards would come with and they include; Armored Strike, Corrosive Ward, Flank, and Lookout.

Last week, in my previous post here I described and explain further the various abilities that these cards will be bringing to the game. Maybe you can check them out from the previous post link I have shared in this post.

Also we shouldn't forget that these rebellion packs will come along with their own summoners as well they will also have some new abilities such as summoner tactics and dual-element. These new features will give players the ability to make changes or choose between which tactic to use in battle after the teams are revealed before the battle begins. Also, another new mechanic known as the summoner tactics will grant summoners two different sets of debuffs or buffs and the player can choose between the two of them which one to use in battle after the teams have been revealed.

The new set of cards will be made of 96 cards and they will take in place of the untamed cards in the modern format battle. This will be the first time in Splinterlands such a thing is going to happen. We are looking forward to seeing how things will go after the launch.

The cost of a pack is 5000 credits or DEC and also another bonus opportunity for discount has been granted for users that have VOUCHERS. If you have a voucher, 5 will take in place of 1000 DEC/Credits. The discount is 20% for using a Voucher in the payment method.

The first 250 people with the highest purchase in the leaderboard after the presale is over will be given the following status in the game.

Position 1 - 30 - "The Dawnbringer" Legendary Title
Position 31 - 100 - "The Defiant" Epic Title
Position 101 - 250 - "The Rebel" Rare Title

The MANTAROTH and the GRIMBARDN SMITH monsters are two great bonus monsters that can be earned by users who have bought a certain number of the rebellion packs. For the Grimbardn Smith monster, one must hold ten (10) or more rebellion packs in order to mint that. Similarly, to the Mantaroth monster, one must hold 100 or more rebellion packs in order to mint that as well.

Lastly, the airdrop conflict is one of the major changes that has been added after the launch of the rebellion packs presales. With this system, users will have to stake the unopened rebellion packs in order to join this airdrop. This really shows how conflicts this airdrop will look like since it is by lack, we can all try our luck and see.

Woot, these are indeed nice and great monsters which I am eager to get as well. I wish I could also buy more of the packs to stand a chance of winning some of those promo cards. Just as I said, maybe before the presale ends, I might purchase more of the packs and can also stand a chance as well.
