Confidence In Card Value Is Back!

In this video, I break down why I believe confidence in card value is back in Splinterlands. We've seen massive support for the recent Hall of Legends promo cards and Rebellion set value has recovered significantly. The scarcity and demand for these cards is appropriate for the size of the player base and many who bought are feeling confident or happy with the cards retaining their value.

This is a great sign as we move forward with additional promo events, a potential mini-set, and the eventual next core set!

It is also a thing to take note how the top 300-500 of the leaderboard has only spent less than 10 DEC in buying the promo card, probably just to chase the title, and probably just selling of the card they bought to the market at low price to recoup a portion of their cost and use it again to buy the next promo card then just continue with that cycle until the final phase of the event, barely spending DEC but acquire a title which they could sell for more than they spend.

I didn't buy the cards and get up the leaderboard for the title. I don't care about land and I don't care about the title. I just want GF copies and am happy to put up some max rentals to the market since the print rate is low for the expensive promos.

I believe that was the case with you and most that are in the top of leaderboard but may not be the case for those that has only bought single bcx card as they might only need to buy the bare minimum to get a spot in the leaderboard for the duration of the event. I just feel that giving 500 titles is just too much even if it runs for 5 phases cause it was still the whales that are mainly moving the promo sales.

Completely agree 500 was far too many titles, but titles are basically free to print by the company so no skin off their backs really. Same as how they gave out the titles at HiveFest. Easy promotion for sure!

Sorry to burst your bubble, but I definitely bought 50 Elanor on a whim hahaha!

I wanted to score 2 more GFL for the collection and decided to throw 4 max Elanor up for rental since there weren't that many available on the rental market. Hope I can recover ~60% in year 1.
