Rebellion Pack Sales Have Increased!

As we get closer to the end of the Rebellion pack sale, I wanted to share some data with you. Shout out to Jef for sharing this with me on discord!

Over the past couple of weeks we've actually seen Rebellion packs increase significantly vs earlier on in the summer. This could be due to the fact that we are on the final conflict and people want that card, or maybe they are already planning on buying and just got a head start.

Either way, this sets an interesting tone for the next couple of months as we work through the final 2 million packs available for sale. Personally, I've predicted (optimistically) that we will hit Matt's initial goal of 1.5M packs although I know it will be quite difficult. Considering the market has started picking up though, I do believe Q4 is going to be great for crypto and that will trickle down into Splinterlands.

I think we have a chance of hitting 1.5 million packs. There will be FOMO on packs as these are quite rare and if the player base stays stable players like me will be looking to buy Rebellion cards as I don't have any. Once Chaos rotates out of modern I would have to decide to play in Wild or buy Rebellion set...

I think if the set value goes high enough you will get people who try to arbitrage.

I also think the removal of bulk discounts has helped with this. All the bulk discounts were doing was giving some profit to the bulk buyers to sell in the secondary market.

Like you, I believe the pack sales will pick up, although it might be slower because a lot of people are depending on their other assets and portfolio to drive money into other ventures like splinterlands. So it might depend on how fast the market moves
