The recording that Kiffness did was hilarious and brilliant. It really captured the state of political world in many ways and more importantly, how many react to it - with humor.

In regards to Bulldog's suggestion, I was of a similar mindset and want to better understand your perspective. The DAO has a lot of current expenses and maybe more in the future, so I can understand wanting to stack HBD for a rainy day. That said, we do need to find a sustainable way for the DAO to continue funding rewards through SPS and using some earnings to buy when cheap makes sense to me too.

How would you allocate capital?

Appreciate that we see eye-to-eye on Kiffness. World need humor and not the dystopia that some of our leaders (?) paint about the United States.

Regarding your question on DAO capital I like us to be a holding company like we have been. Managing a decentralized portfolio for investment gain based on community opinion bound to fail.

Since you did ask for my opinion: I like to hold the hive that we earn for now. Here are my reasons:

  1. I speculate that hive has potential to rally, say 50% to 100%
  2. A 40 cent hive will buy you 2X more stable that 20 cent hive
  3. Holding hive compounds the gain, as we get 10% compound interest from curation. Please check your own account for recent growth and then multiply it by the factor to match DAO HP and you can get the growth.

Regarding SPS rewards: I like the game to come up with an organic way to reward, not by stretching the SPS.

Remember the best way to increase wealth is by earning more, not by saving. Elon Musk and Bill Gates are not where they are bying being great savers. They are there my doing innovation and running a good business. Saving only gives you mediocrity and that is the best case scenario :) In worst case, saving will progressively make you more negative regarding the surrounding world. Just notice how average Americans are struggling to keep their head above the water. Do you think saving will increase their quality of life or a better job, higher education, better earning?

I can agree with the approach of creating value rather than preserving it. Right now we are too dependent on the team to create that value though. I hope the DAO can become a more active participant in doing so as the ecosystem grows.

and DAO will, but not by savings, but by innovation

By bringing new investment.
