What Happened To Infinite Card Staking

In this video, I discuss several ideas for infinite card staking - some of which were teased over a year ago before Matt took over as CEO - and how they can be incredibly helpful for soaking up the excess cards in the ecosystem.

Previously we had heard this idea of infinite card staking for both land and guilds, but seeing how land has progressed and the current road map for Land 1.75 I don't believe it is an option there anymore. For Guilds, the Alliance project was abandoned/postponed but I believe there is still an opportunity to do something with guilds that doesn't require a massive overhaul.

Even if it was something as simple as additional reward share boosts or a cosmetic title for your guild, I believe there are many competitive players and guild in the ecosystem that would take part in this and use their extra cards in a productive way.

I'm not sure when we can expect something like this but I do believe there is a significant clock ticking - when Chaos Legion leaves modern format. Hopefully by that time we have figured out what to do with all the extra cards!
