Pink nightmare

Hola a todos muy buenas noches. Hoy mi inspiración fue el color rosa, un color que no suelo utilizar muy seguido en mis dibujos pero que de vez en cuando siento la necesidad de tener dibujos de otros tonos diferentes a los que suelo hacer, esta vez use en su mayoría toda la gama de rosas que pude aplicar en contraste con un fondo morado pastel que coloque en el fondo, quería hacer un retrato un poco dark pero llevándolo aun tono poco habitual, normalmente cuando dibujo cosas con tonos rosas son un poco mas adorables o con temática más dulce, me parece bastante curioso el resultado final, pero me gusto muchísimo, espero que les guste.

Today my inspiration was the color pink, a color that I don't use very often in my drawings but from time to time I feel the need to have drawings of other tones different from the ones I usually do, this time I used mostly all the range of pinks that I could apply in contrast to a pastel purple background that I put in the background, I wanted to make a portrait a little dark but taking it to an unusual tone, usually when I draw things with pink tones are a little more adorable or with a sweeter theme, I find the final result quite curious, but I really liked it, I hope you like it too.

Proceso/Process

Realice el boceto del rostro y sinceramente no estaba convencida, sentía que algo estaba mal pero decidí continuar, comencé a pintar la piel con un rosa pastel de base y luego añadí sombras y luces con esta misma gama de color, en algunas sombras coloque un poco de morado pero muy leve, luego agregue una nueva capa donde añadí más tonos para terminar de formar todo el rostro, con un pincel difuso empecé a mezclar todos los colores dejando una piel suave y sin textura, para el cabello coloque un color base que es un morado casi rosa.

I made the sketch of the face and honestly I was not convinced, I felt that something was wrong but I decided to continue, I began to paint the skin with a pastel pink base and then I added shadows and lights with this same range of color, in some shadows I placed a little purple but very slight, then I added a new layer where I added more tones to finish forming the whole face, with a diffuse brush I began to mix all the colors leaving a smooth skin without texture, for the hair I placed a base color which is an almost pink purple.

Al final le cambie el color al cabello a un tono rosa pastel, me gusto mas de esta forma ya que combinaba mejor, agregue algunos mechones claros y otros oscuros para darle volumen y movimiento al cabello, luego pinte esta especie de lagrimas que tambien serian rosadas, cayendo por sus mejillas, quise darle un efecto brillante asi que añadí algunos puntos de luz, pinte las cejas y pestañas con tonos claros a diferencia de los que uso normalmente, ya que siempre me gusta aplicar colores oscuros en esa zona para resaltar las pestañas y cejas, sin embargo, esta vez quedaba muy bien hacerlo con colores claros siguiendo loa paleta de colores que estaba manejando, se me ocurrió pintar una especie de grieta en el pómulo con un rosa oscuro y líneas muy pequeñas, cambie el fondo a un color lila y me encanto el contraste que hacia el fondo con el retrato, finalice mi dibujo añadiendo algunos detalles de luz en algunas partes del rostro y editando la imagen aumentando la saturación y disminuyendo un poco la exposición de la imagen.

At the end I changed the hair color to a pastel pink tone, I liked it better this way since it combined better, I added some light and some dark strands to give volume and movement to the hair, then I painted this kind of tears that would also be pink, falling down her cheeks, I wanted to give a bright effect so I added some light spots, I painted the eyebrows and eyelashes with light tones unlike the ones I normally use, since I always like to apply dark colors in that area to highlight the eyelashes and eyebrows, however, this time it was very nice to do it with light colors following the color palette I was using, I thought of painting a kind of crack in the cheekbone with a dark pink and very small lines, I changed the background to a lilac color and I loved the contrast between the background and the portrait, I finished my drawing adding some light details in some parts of the face and editing the image increasing the saturation and decreasing a little the exposure of the image.
