Upgrading the REB summoners

Hi,

as there have some guild finally decided to join us in tier 5 in Splinterlands. I know that some of them have the money and brag all over about it, but might lack the skill, as in Tier 5 are the best guilds with definitely the best players.

As there is no Alpha any more in Brawls, I made a switch to modern and play Chaos Legion, Riftwatcher and Rebellion, at gold deck level. Chaos Legion, I've maxed out some months ago, Rift Watcher have some essential cards and now on Rebellion, I try to upgrade my deck to gold level. I did buy some packs, which got me the Epic title. This means that on Rebellion I've spent more than 5k, which is a huge sum for every sane person.

And yet, not everything is on gold level. To stay competitive on brawls, I need a full modern gold level deck. Not gold foil, as this is way too expensive, and this is all money that I can afford to lose. Sinking hundreds of thousands is simply not sustainable for anyone.

But, back to it, today I bought some good amount of BCX, as I wanted to upgrade all the Summoners to the gold level. I was missing some of them, but now, all are set, which lets the other cards be used at max.

Now, there are still further 900 USD needed to upgrade all the other cards, which is a huge sum. I've decided to stop sinking money into the game, and will only reinvest the gains. Gains would be the right word, not profit. Reinvesting is good, as the guild I'm in, The Legendary Dragons is one of the best, and in terms of friendship, maybe the best one. Money can buy a lot of things, but no morals and values.

So, reinvestment will go into 3 major project in the game, land being the first, as I need to buy more DEC and cards, and further land and totems. The second would be a modern upgrade, and the third would be some liquidity for further sets that will appear.
