Baron Bounty’s Event is Over, and my Reward is a Plot

Baron Bounty the event that started on the occasion of Bitcoin halving is officially over now. This event was scheduled for 15 days which is finally over and the rewards have been distributed among the participants. Those who participated in the promotional sale were eligible for the reward and basis their rank they got something out of the reward pool. I also participated in the sale and purchased both cards. Although I have yet to use the cards in the game. I am happy to have both and even I was lucky to get one gold file since I met the minimum requirement of card purchases.

I usually participate in promotional sales and this is because there are some additional benefits provided which generally we do not get in the market. I know that even now people can buy those cards from the open market and this option will always be there but buying from the shop is a better idea. This is also better because I could use my vouchers to avail the 50% discount on the buy. I have been accumulating these vouchers for a long and because the price was low hence I was not able to sell them because I was planning to convert these tokens into SPS. A good price is needed for the conversion because I did not want to swap at a low price and I still hold a good number of vouchers in my account. I earned these vouchers every day from my SPS stake as well as from the node licence which is helping me get some additional discount on such promotional sales.

Now since the event is over so I visited the page and checked out what reward I have received. I made my purchase on the first day so that I could get the maximum number of points and that day I was in below 100 ranking and to be exact it was 91 that day. My ranking continued to fall because many people were buying I was not expecting the reward because of the low ranking. I checked the reward on the website to see if there is something and I am glad to share that I have got a PLOT as a reward. As you can see in the below snapshot my reward is one plot token and I'm happy to have it. I have 263k points with 26 chances for prize and my ranking is 312.

Any reward is OK in the game because anyway I wanted to buy the card that I did and this reward is like a bonus which I have received on top of that. I already have a couple of plots in my account however I'm not using them all but we'll see if there is a better use case in future and for that reason, I continue to hold the plot tokens. I will hold this one as well because you never know in crypto things might shoot up when there is more demand and I am hopeful that things will improve over time.

Anyway, I am happy to have both the cards in my account out of which I also have one gold file which is the available card in the market. Now it will be my time to figure out the best use for both the cards. I still use the card that I bought in the last Bitcoin cycle and it is a very useful card that comes with two mana cost. I hope that the new edition of both cards will help me improve my gameplay because both have some additional abilities as well.

I also used some glint tokens in the reward shop to check out the rarity and this is what I have got which I think is pretty good because there are four legendary cards and hopefully this is a great addition to my deck in the game.

Earlier I wanted to accumulate more glint tokens and buy something big but looks like that is not the right strategy because the price will continue to rise after a certain threshold. Its better to buy in parts and I'm happy with the outcome that I have received. I also need to grow my sps holding so that the multiplier increases and I get more glint tokens with each passing season. I expect more stuff will be added to the reward shop and now I started liking this new reward mechanism where things are flexible and I can choose whatever I want. I also anticipate that things will improve over the period hence stay tuned and enjoy the game.
