Since this is Hive, I won't bury the lead and I'll start with what I think is one of the most exciting developments in the Koinos space which is our partnership with the Splinterlands team.

Our mission at Koinos Group is to make the world more open, transparent, and fair by accelerating decentralization through accessibility, and arguably no one is already doing more to serve that mission than Splinterlands. By joining forces, I believe we can even more rapidly spread this technology to the masses.

Splinterlands is now the second Hive-based game that we are partnering with, the first being Psyber-X, as we recently announced. This demonstrates that we are committed to working with Hive-based projects to create even better Web3 user experiences and onboard even more people to the blockchain.

And now, back to the roadmap.

Koinos is a new and powerful blockchain technology that is distinguished by its ease-of-use and accessibility as the first blockchain ever with free-to-use smart contracts. We believe that what makes blockchain technology valuable is that it enables smart contracts: unstoppable code being executed by a decentralized network of computers.

Anti-Tyranny Technology

Smart contracts promote truth, justice, and individual freedom because they ensure data accuracy, enable fair and unbiased execution of agreements, and empower individuals with greater economic autonomy by eliminating intermediaries. In short, smart contracts are anti-tyranny-technology, but they still remain relegated to a tiny corner of the internet that is using them for primarily speculative purposes.

We started Koinos Group in 2020 to make this technology infinitely more accessible, and began building Koinos to be the longest lever we could imagine to make the world more open, transparent, and fair. But even a blockchain as accessible as Koinos still isn’t very useful without a kind of “bridge” that developers can easily use to connect their applications to the blockchain. So after releasing main net on November the 5th, 2022, we immediately shifted our focus to building our next product–Koinos Pro–which is that bridge.

Koinos Pro

Koinos Pro is a Software-as-a-Service platform that simplifies blockchain integration. Koinos Pro will feature a “Mana Fountain,” allowing developers to access different subscription tiers, offering scalability and sustainability for their applications.

The MVP of Koinos Pro is set to go live this quarter.

Koinos Play

Building on this innovation, Koinos Group also revealed Koinos Play, designed to transform the gaming industry by enabling developers to integrate blockchain features seamlessly into their games. Koinos Play will offer a user-friendly interface, tools, and resources, fostering creativity and accelerating the adoption of blockchain in gaming.

Splinterlands!

Koinos Group has already announced partnerships with GameStack and Royal Reptile Studios and is now excited to collaborate with Splinterlands, one of the most successful blockchain-based games. The collaboration aims to deliver next-gen products and further expose Koinos to new user bases.
