Reverse Speed in Little League

Here’s an update to my recent tactics on speed in little league, this time with Reverse Speed + Little League + Corrosive Damage. Reverse Speeds turns all speed around – the slowest is the fastest, and +1 Speed equals -1 Speed and vice versa – that is very important. This is a Wild Brawl, silver league.

The strategy is the same – dodge whatever comes at us. Almost all splinters are available, so I chose Sthispa for the Phase ability, combined with nature splinter – nature has a lot of slow magic monsters, which is what I want here.

I did not choose any martyr or other buffs that include speed, since it goes against my strategy. Fortunately, the opponent chose differently, giving himself a speed buff (hence a de-buff) and me a speed de-buff (hence a buff). That made the battle very easy, but this is just to show the concept.

1 Position Hill Giant – Slow, decent damage for a low level, life. Chose this one over the Xenth Monk this time because Xenth Monk is way faster, and therefor slower.
2 Queen Mycelia – support with +2 armor
3 Wood Nymph – a little faster than the other monsters, but that’s what I want – to heal the tank in the end, not the beginning
4 Moxian Rebel – slow magic, gives +1 magic to my rear tank
5 Lurking Puffer – Rear tank with damage thanks to the Rebell, nice and slow
6 Djinn Biljka – wonderful 2 magic damage for 3 mana, can’t be targeted, and has void – one of the best magic monster for little league

The first round goes nicely, I barely loose 1 armor on the giant, but kill there tank right away.

In the second round I take out two of theirs, and so on. Quite boring battle, but hey, it proves the point.

What bothers me – the Corrosive fog makes it so slow to watch. It would be way nicer if they could just damage all the monsters at once, instead of one by one.
