Splinterlands - Surpassing 140k SPS staked on the road to 150k SPS

I've come back with quite some positive energy to Splinterlands and my sole focus is on growing my staked Splintershards (SPS) stash. I've always believed that SPS is the most precious asset from the game and based on the staked amount it is offering also a Boost in earnings. Thus, you simply cannot get too far away without staking SPS. With that in mind I have set a goal of having 150,000 SPS staked and nowadays I've just surpassed 140,000 SPS which simply brings me closer to my objective. Probably I would have get there sooner if I had continued to play the game continuously, but I took about a 3 Months brake from it and now I've decided to come back with more energy and motivation.

I cannot even remember my previous article related to my Splintershards goal, but hopefully as I climb up and stake more I will be able to provide more insight on that. The crypto market is becoming bullish these days and while Splintershards (SPS) doesn't show and significant appreciation, I still have hope on it. What will it boost it up? Well, I truly don't know anymore but I think there is the will to improve the game tokenomics and sustainability. Will just wait and see if the work done now, will positively impact the game later on. And the most important moment is 2024, when everyone expects for another crypto bull run. I am not putting my hand into fire for that, but at least there are better hopes at the horizon for this tumultuous space.

Staking Splintershards brings quite a few of benefits and perks for the account holders. I will try to go over them a bit, while showcasing where I have gotten so far on my way to reaching 150,000 SPS staked. I am aware that persistency is the key of achieving goals and doing as little as I can each and every day, will get me there sooner rather than later. So, let's see if I can keep up in this regard and reach my goal by the end of the year. I surely hope so, as I am looking to set other goals afterwards. :) Call me an optimist if nothing else. ;)

Splintershards staking

As I was saying I've just succeeded to surpass 140,000 SPS staked and even topped up 140,362.803 SPS. Why is this important? Well, the first thing is because it provides a fully passive revenue stream by giving 10.98% APR at the moment. That translates in 15,411 SPS earned annually or 1,284 SPS earned monthly or 42 SPS earned on a daily basis. That's pretty good for just having that stash of SPS staked and just doing nothing.

Splintershards rewards boost

Besides the passive revenue stream from staking, the Splintershards are providing also a Reward Boost to the assets that you can earn from battles. As you can see at the moment I am in the Diamond League and have a x7.38 Boost on the earnings as provided by the staked SPS, so I believe that is quite important in the game earnings and tokenomics across all assets. If you want to earn, you need to stake as mush SPS as you can. And this is one reason that I believe holding SPS is a strong case and value capture for the token.

Splintershards proposals

Nonetheless, based on the held SPS you can vote on Splinterlands proposals and you vote will be proportional to your holdings. Thus, you can influence the direction in which the games evolve by having a bigger stake of SPS. Otherwise, your vote will count for peanuts.

Splinterlands is still dominating the play2earn blockchain games arena on the Hive blockchain and also beyond. Thus, staying the course, playing and enjoying our wins is all that we can do until things are getting on track. And with a predicted crypto bull run at the horizon, that will my get a jump in order to revitalize everything and continue the developments and growing this ecosystem.
