Baby unicorn-inspired baby blanket 🦄🦄 (Eng - Esp)
Greetings friends who love yarn and needles, I hope you are enjoying good health and have a great day, July is moving fast and I continue to bring out the pending projects, this time I share the elaboration of a baby blanket inspired by Baby Unicorn a character from the Splinterlands cards, in the last few years several unicorns have been born with a better character than the older relatives, besides they already possess magical powers and are adorable; they tend to wander wherever they please and often get into trouble.
Taking this adorable character as a reference I made a pink blanket for a cute baby girl decorated with the unicorn. Baby lingerie and all projects with little ones are my favorite and I enjoy making each one of them, they are so cute and cuddly.
Saludos amigos amantes de los hilos y las agujas, deseo se encuentren disfutando de buena salud y tengan un excelente día, el mes de julio avanza rápido y continúo sacando los proyectos pendientes, ern esta ocasión comparto la elaboración de una manta para bebé inspirada en Baby Unicorn un personaje de las cartas de Splinterlands, en los últimos años han nacido varios unicornios con un mejor carácter que los parientes mayores, además ya poseen poderes mágicos y son adorables; tienden a vagar por donde les place y a menudo se meten en problemas.
Tomando como referencia este adorable personaje hice una manta de color rosa para una linda bebé decorada con el unicornio. La lencería de bebés y todos los proyectos con los chiquitines son mis favoritos y disfruto hacer cada uno de ello, son tan tiernos y cuchis.

Making the blanket is simple and you can use hand sewing or the sewing machine, this time I used hand stitch to glue the unicorn, I started by cutting the pieces that form the unicorn; body, mane and horn, the mane is divided into five parts, to join it I pinned it with pins facing the rights and sewed with hidden stitch.

Hacer la manta es sencillo y se puede emplear costura a mano o la máquina de coser, en esta ocasión usé puntada a mano para pegar el unicornio, inicié cortando las piezas que forman el unicornio; cuerpo, crin y cuerno, la crín está dividida en cinco partes, para unirla sujeté con alfileres enfrentando los derechos y cosi con puntada escondida.
The next step was to assemble the unicorn, I glued the mane at the top, then the ear, the topknot and the horn, using small hidden stitch; then I glued the eye and with black thread I made the mouth; when gluing the eye you must pass several stitches so that it is strong to prevent the baby from taking it off, a safe option and that will leave the threads saved is to glue the eye to the unicorn and then this to the blanket.
El siguiente paso fue armar el unicornio, pegué la crin en la parte superior, luego la oreja, el copete y el cuerno, usando puntada escondida pequeña; luego pegué el ojo y con hilo negro hice la boca; al pegar el ojo se deben pasar varias puntadas de tal forma que quede fuerte para evitar que el bebé lo despegue, una opción segura y que dejará los hilos guardados es pegar el ojo al unicornio y luego este a la manta.

Para finalizar sujeté el unicornio con alfileres en la parte delantera de la manta y cosí, con estos sencillos pasos está terminada una linda manta para bebés decorada con unicornio.
Making this blanket was very exciting, in fact all sewing projects related to babies I love and merelajan and this time was no exception, I feel happy with the result; the baby will have a soft blanket to protect her from the cold plus the baby unicorn will take care of her dreams.
Hacer esta manta fue muy emocionante, de hecho todos los proyectos de costura relacionados con bebés me encantan y merelajan y esta vez no fue la excepción, me siento feliz con el resultado; la bebé tendrá una suave manta para protegerse del frío además el bebé unicornio cuidará sus sueños.
