Greetings friends lovers of yarn and needles it is a pleasure to greet you wishing you are healthy, happy and that God's blessing abound in your homes, this time I share a new creative project inspired by Centauri Mage, a character from the Splinterlands cards who wears in her hair a headband of pink flowers, I took them as a reference to make a hair clip decorated with two pink flowers, another gift for my dear niece, who loves the color pink, it is a simple project to make and in which we can take advantage of the leftover fabric, I invite you to join me in the process of elaboration.
Saludos amigos amantes de los hilos y las agujas es un placer saludarles deseando se encuentren sanos, felices y que la bendición de Dios abunde en sus hogares, en esta ocasión comparto un nuevo proyecto creativo inspirado en Centauri Mage, un personaje de las cartas de Splinterlands que lleva en su cabello una diadema de flores rosa, las tomé como referencia para elaborar una pinza para el cabello decorada con dos flores rosa, otro obsequio para mi querida sobrina, a quien le encanta el color rosa, es un proyecto sencillo de hacer y en el cual podemos aprovechar los sobrantes de tela, les invito me acompañen en el proceso de elaboración.

Using the lid as a mold, I marked and cut ten (10) circles to make the flower petals.
Usando como molde la tapa , marqué y corté diez (10) círculos para hacer los pétalos de las flores.
The next step was to make the petals, for this I folded the circles in half, pinned them to prevent the fabric from moving when sewing, then folded them again and sewed along the bottom edge with a hand stitch.
El siguiente paso fue hacer los pétalos, para ello doblé los círculos a la mitad, sujeté con alfileres así se evita que se mueva la tela al coser, luego los doblé nuevamente y cosí por el borde inferior con puntada a mano.
Once the petals were sewn, I gathered the thread to form the flower and made several knots to give more support and firmness to the flower, so the petals keep their shape and the folds.
Cosidos los pétalos fruncí el hilo hasta formar la flor e hice varios nudos para dar mayor soporte y firmeza a la flor, así los pétalos conservan la forma y los arruches.
With hot silicone I glued the buttons in the center of the flowers and lined the clip with green fabric.
Con silicón caliente pegué los botones en el centro de las flores y forré la pinza con tela verde.
The last step was to glue the flowers on the clip, adding a dot of hot silicone on the back of the flowers, with these simple steps a beautiful floral hair clip is finished.
El último paso fue pegar las flores en la pinza, agregando un punto de silicón caliente en la parte trasera de las flores, con estos sencillos pasos está terminada una hermosa pinza floral para el cabello.
Flowers are always a nice hair ornament and my niece loves flowers, I'm sure she will be very happy with her new hair clip which she can match with her outfit.
