DIY: Colorful circular coaster inspired by Valnamor (Eng - Esp)
Greetings friends lovers of threads and needles, I wish you are enjoying good health and have a great weekend, it is a pleasure to share my new creative project inspired by Valnamor, a character from the Splinterlands cards, from which I took as reference the colours; turquoise, gold, orange, black and red to sew a nice coaster, which besides protecting the table from possible spills of juice or water serves as an ornament and is a simple project in which we can use the fabric scraps.
Saludos amigos amantes de los hilos y las agujas, deseo se encuentren disfrutando de buena salud y tengan un excelente fin de semana, es un placer compartir mi nuevo proyecto creativo inspirado en Valnamor, un personaje de las cartas de Splinterlands, del cual tomé como referencia los colores; turquesa, dorado, naranja, negro y rojo para coser un lindo posavasos, que además de proteger la mesa de posibles derrames de jugo o agua sirve de adorno y es un proyecto sencillo en el cual podemos usar los retazos de tela.
The materials used were:

Los materiales usados fueron:

Elaboration
The elaboration of the cup holder is easy and in a few minutes, with the help of the lid I marked and cut five (5) circles.
La elaboración del posa vasos es fácil y en pocos minutos, con ayuda de la tapa marqué y corté cinco (5) círculos.
Then I ironed them and formed four (4) half moons, the black circle will be the base.
Luego los planché y formé cuatro (4) media lunas, el círculo de color negro será la base.
The next step was to assemble the coaster, I faced the right side of the half moon with the black circle, I placed the golden one in such a way that the edges are facing outwards, then the orange one on top of the previous one.
El siguiente paso fue ensamblar el posavasos, enfrenté por el derecho las media luna con el círculo negro, coloqué la dorada de tal forma que los bordes queden hacia afuera, luego la de color naranja encima de la anterior.
Then I put the turquoise crescent moon, on top of it the red one and went under the gold one to form four triangles. I pinned and stitched all the way around.
Luego puse la media luna color turquesa, encima de esta la de color rojo y pasé por debajo de la dorada hasta formar cuatro triángulos. Sujeté con alfileres y cosí por todo el contorno.
To finish I removed the excess fabric, turned, ironed and restitched with a straight stitch; with these simple steps a nice and colorful coaster is finished.
Para finalizar retiré el exceso de tela, volteé, planché y repisé con puntada recta; con estos sencillos pasos está terminado un lindo y colorido posavasos.
I loved the result, the colors contrast very well and it looks like a colorful four slice pizza; it is an excellent idea to reuse and take advantage of leftover fabric. I hope you like this project
