Hello to any of my readers and "Dear (weekly) Diary" 😜

There's no stopping the rise of BTC and the overall crypto markets at the moment. Prices have gone up without taking a break in just the past week alone. I wonder if this is actually sustainable to be honest. HIVE has unfortunately not had the same pace of gains as most of the majors thus far. I do hope that'll change soon.

On the Splinterlands dev side of the game, Rebellion has finally launched at last! Tis has completely changed the dynamics of gameplay as new cards are introduced and the Untamed set is phased out of the Modern format. Also, having gone through the Fire splinter Rebellion cards last week, I think it's time to move on to another. 😉

But before I go into detail...

A brief introduction before I start though...

Good Day to all Splinterlands players! (and people of HIVE! 😜) I've made it a point to blog about my weekly progress and experiences in Splinterlands/HIVE in my "weekly diary". Splinterlands & HIVE are what I'd consider to be my entry point into the World of Crypto, and I intend to use this as a means to look back on the path I've taken in the years ahead.⏳⏳⏳

This is now the 107th consecutive week writing in my Diary (of sorts) detailing my Splinterlands Journey ever since I started this game. I talk about what has gone on my personal Splinterlands playing experience, my weekly Guild Brawl Reports, and also any Splinterlands ingame news. 🎉🥳🎊

No week goes by in Splinterlands without some news event happening though. And here's my pick of some of the most interesting ones in my opinion. 📰📰📰

I'd say the past week has been more of the same in terms of my gaming time in Splinterlands. I am still doing my daily focuses and trying to win as many daily reward chests as possible. However, the biggest change has now been the release of Rebellion! 😱

Suddenly, I have to juggle a lot more new cards and face a completely different battlefield as compared to what I've been used to for the longest time. To be honest, I still haven't gotten quite used to the new cards even after a few days. I think it'll be some time before everyone really unlocks the full potential of all the possible combinations out there.

My quest for more Gold Foil Legendary cards from my rewards chests continues on ("Greed is Good!" 😈). It's a 0.008% chance, at base level, to pull a legendary gold foil, in case you were wondering 😉. Here's to more jackpot strikes in the future (i hope) 🤞🏻🍀🤞🏻🍀🤞🏻🍀.

My main regularly picks up the ✨🏅✨Gold Foil Chaos Legion Only Fray no.12✨🏅✨ while my alt takes up the ✨🏅✨Bronze Chaos Legion Fray no. 7✨🏅✨ every week.

It was a mediocre week for me as I did ok for my brawls. I had expected slightly better results (aka perfect winning sweeps 😜) but fell slightly short of my goals.

PIZZA 2 Guild managed to finish in 4th place! 🏆🏆🏆

This was a really close battle for the top few positions and a win or two would have made a huge difference.

Having gone through the entire list of Fire splinter Rebellion cards in my previous weekly post, the next logical step is to look at all the Water splinter cards now. Personally, I find the Water splinter stronger than Fire. However, that is only based on my experiences at Silver and Bronze and the higher Leagues could be entirely different.
