I chanced upon an interesting query from a fellow WOO player today in WOO's Discord and thought this could make for an interesting behind the scenes easter egg for newer players. 😉

That being said, have you ever wondered about the mystery behind some of the players and terms you encounter in WOO? I’ve got an interesting tidbit for you today! Let's dive into the legend of the oft encountered player CouchCommittee! Who on earth is he/she? Well, it turns out that the infamous couchcomittee has a backstory to go along with it. Here’s the scoop straight from the WOO Discord courtesy of @bookerman himself.

• Is CouchCommittee a bot or real player?
  • This question popped up recently, with some players like @genming (being the latest, but definitely not to last) wondering if CouchCommittee was a bot due to frequent matchups. (He is by the way, just so players can have someone to match up against even in the most off peak of hours)

• The Challenge:
  • Chronic cWo even offered 2k WOO to anyone who could unravel the mystery of CouchCommittee’s history.

• The Reveal:
  • [Corporate] Booker Man finally spilled the beans (again):
    • CouchCommittee refers to a group of college friends, including Booker Man, @cptspaulding, and a few others.
    • This crew used to hang out on some comfy couches, discussing various topics and getting things done.
    • One of their favorite professors would walk by and say, "looks like the couch committee is in session." Hence, the name CouchCommittee was born!

• More to Come:
  • While the Couch Committee’s story is out, there’s a hint about another intriguing group—the Arctic Legion. Seems like there are more secrets to uncover!
