CHALLENGE ACCEPTED! The Yabapmatt Bounty | Splinterlands

@thepeoplesguild put out a bounty on @yabapmatt, so I've been scouring around Praetoria to look for my chance at capturing the Prince of Praetoria, the Sultan of the Splinterlands, the Warden of the Wild Northeast - the INFAMOUS YABA.

After days of searching, I finally spot him. There he is. AND HE'S SPORTING A TOFU, THE DEVIL!

There are noxious fumes all about and earthquakes raging underneath. It's inhospitable territory. I've deployed Lorkus to give survivability to my Grimbardun Smith, who's begrudgingly been following me through this trek. He's not eaten for MINUTES, it's hell. Usut follows close behind, clinging closely to the rat. Usut whispers to the rat that he'll protect him, but we all know why Usut won't let the rat more than an arm's length away...

The battle begins, and right on cue, the rat breaks his leg from a tremor and then proceeds to breath a lungful of poisonous fumes, promptly falling limp to the ground. The smith and Usut revel in this glorious death, energized by the rat's martyrdom.

With his newfound power, my Usut eyes the opposing Grimbardun Smith, licking his chops at the impending doom that's to come.

In a futile attempt, Yaba's team strikes at mine and gets, for a fleeting moment, an advantage in terms of the number of troops. The opposing smith scavenges through the dead to replenish his strength, desperately trying to make something work. The Pelacor Mercenary in the front regrets every decision he's ever made. No amount of gold is worth this kind of beating. If only he'd listened to his buddy the conjurer maybe he would deal better with the onslaught of magic volleys.

Usut begins to feast...

I did it! I defeated Yaba! I feel a sweet tinge of victory as the dust settles. Then, I recall my opponent. The big boss playing the big cat... Regret begins to sour the taste of victory, like a stew soured by... something crappy like raisins. Did I, in fact, win? The realization sets in... Matt! Tofu! WHAT HAVE I DONE?
