General Strategy for Going the Distance Ruleset:

On this ruleset all units have to be ranger attackers, to get a big advantage on this, use a summoner that give you an advantage using range units or fighting against them, like reducing enemies ranged attack, increasing yours, give your units Close Range ability or Return Fire, Ilthain is probably the best Modern option for this, giving all your units Return Fire and +1 speed, Quiz the Devious is one of the best options and is a cheaper option, it give 2 abilities as well one of the best Modern options, this abilities goes for your units as well try to get this anti-range abilities like Headwinds , Return Fire , Close Range others abilities can be very useful like Shield, Protect, Repair.

Others Rulesets and battle Conditions:

Born Again: All monsters have the rebirth ability.

Reverse Speed: Monsters with the lowest speed attack first and have the higher chance of evading attacks.

Mana Cap: 31.

Splinters Allowed: Life, Fire, Water, Dragon, Earth.

About this Battle:

On this battle I went with General Sloam, my opponent went with Quiz the Devious it is a complete counter for my Summoner negating the range buff plus reducing my speed, however on Reverse Speed ruleset is not a good choice , General Sloam is better just on this one ruleset, I used Anachron Bolter to reduce the range attack of my opponent , Prismologist an extremely strong archer but very slow , so it comes perfect for this convinations of rulesets, Pelacor Arbalest the highest damage dealer of my team with his Double Strike and 3 of 2 or 1 mana cost small archers to fill the board, my opponent use 2 Martyrs abilities that are pretty good for the Rebirth ruleset but not that good for reverse speed.
