Some mentions, from recent pack opens. 2022, i don't love you....yet.
Been grabbing just couple packs at a time, but not hitting the monster find that i want.
Just a couple notable mentions here.
1st up, we got a Gold Foil Silent Sha-Vi.
Cool lookin guy. I havent quite used very much yet though. Pretty good melee damage, good speed, and the sneak ability.
Market value of $3.28. Some lore from the splinterlands site...
Next up, the Insidious Warlock, regular foil.
Looks cool, but this ability is new to me. I believe he only attacks every other round, but does double damage. Which i suppose can be useful in certain situations.
Poor value, at just $1.50 average low price in market. Is pretty cool, somewhat useful though.

Last, but not least, a regular foil Hunter Jark. Cool card as well, cool stats. Range damage of 3 with the snipe ability. Good health, but a little slow on speed.
Value not so great, looks like can scoop one up for about $2.30 or so.
So there ya go, wraps up my new additions. I posted couple days ago about buying Torhilo the Frozen, and its def one of my favorite cards so far. Ive beaten the Llama, and Djinn Oshannus a couple times which have been my toughest challenges
Im feeling that the sentiment about Splinterlands has shifted a bit. Changes to cards, with addition of Chaos Legion. Flooding the card market with many cards. Some cards quite powerful, maybe devaluing prior powerful cards.
We have to see the big picture. If we enjoy the game, we can keep stacking the small rewards that we get. It cant be a get rich type of scenario. Even though many of us would like to get rich soon, its always hard work. As long as splinterlands stays healthy, and people continue to engage, i think well be ok for a while.
Values have swung wildly, and ive just been in since Sept of 2021. We make the choice, play or dont play.

Congrats on the new cards -- especially that gold foil Silent Sha-Vi and that Insidious Warlock with the Recharge ability. Also, Hunter Jarx looks badass, a good card for Snipe Quests. Those monsters are awesome!

I am in a very good guild already. I wish I was a bot. That would be cool. Maybe with the future of body modding similar to games like cyber punk. That shits funny. I wish I was a bot though. I can't even figure out how to script one of them damn things. I keep running into errors. Thought my computer was dead last night due to messing with a bot script. I gave up after some error called watchdog or something. My PC froze all of a sudden and and restarted. I was in panic mode because I was still in the process of writing this post. Luckily though, peakd saves every so often. I was able to just reopen Brave and then posted it. What is your opinion about the NFT thing that was mentioned? Also, the logo? Think it could use an update?

Montana sounds badass, probably colder than chicago, but its like single digits past couple days, pretty cold.
Yeah exactly. It has been in the negatives this past week. My home gets really cold at night. I will basically go to bed when I start getting cold. I didn't weatherize my house this year. I just moved in the place I live back in August, so we didn't really have a ton of time for us to get things done. I quit my job in the beginning of November. I just had been focused on the holidays rather than winterizing. With wind chills it was -20 the night before last. My windows had ice over every single one of them. It has been like that for at least a week. Too damn cold. Today it is in the 40's, tomorrow snow again. I have never been to Chicago but my dad did go on Jerry Springer back in the 90's. I have wanted to see the Sears tower since. If it is even a thing anymore. Not sure. lol
Lol, thats a badass state, no doubt. 100% respect for that. Chicago is garbage lately, but it will always be an iconic city.
Its funny because old school chicago people still call it the Sears tower, its been the Willis tower for a few years now. Long live the Sears. Friggin springer too lol.

Super chilled on the Guild offer. We have 3 Guilds so different levels of players / activity. But brawls are fun and we often win (in THG1) and get to buy Gladius packs with merits #flex 😎 Keen on the public CL sale but worried about card prices at the same time. Maybe time to sell some dupes and Hodl credits for the sale?! #Splinterlands
Hell yeah! I think that would be a good idea too. I am almost 100% certain after the public sale release it will drop card prices. I remember a lot of cards that were 10 cents now worth a few dollars.
