This is my splinterlands community engagement challenge blog.
Now it's time to share something interesting and useful especially for the beginners who recently joined splinterlands or thinking of joining Splinterlands.
No doubt this time splinterlands is one of the best Hive based Nft gaming platform. If you have remember then one month before we were getting a task from weekly challenge to share *tips for beginners”.

Players were sharing their experience on *Hive blockchain”.
Situation is that there is huge traffic over the splinterlands gaming platform.
It is because splinterlands is providing passive income for playing #play2earn.
Most of the game is based on high risk but in splinterlands one can play with zero risk.
One can purchase and sell cards and tokens.
Even one can participate in splinterlands weekly challenge and can earn from blogging. If you are a beginner and want to join splinterlands, then it will be helpful for you to understand the basic things of play2earn splinterlands.

KNOW TO SPLINTERLANDS

The official announcement about the game was in 2018 with the name #Steemmonster. As the game progressed, there were some changes involved in this play2earn gaming platform. Like today that time too we used to get some promo, alpha, beta, reward Edition cards along with untamed.
That time the reward system was a little different. We used to get packs from our daily focus chest.
Even the people also get packs for making a place in the leaderboard. After that Dec was in trend. We used to get Dec in thousands .
Now similarly we used to get some cards from daily focus chest. In wild or modern now we get sps and *Glint tokens” but that time we got Champion Points including Dec.

WAY TO ELIGIBLE FOR SPLINTERLANDS

If you want to play splinterlands, then you need an account either in the Hive blockchain or a separate account for splinterlands. If you already have a Hive account then, there is no need to create a separate account. It can be login with Hive account using a Hive posting key or keychain extension.
For keychain you have to download Hive Keychain from the play store. It is for Android users.
#HiveKeychain is one of the best an application to explore Hive blockchain. It helps you to check your resource credits, voting Mana, auto Hive power, delegation, claiming rewards, controlling Hive, Hbd, Hp and other various tokens that get from various dapps.
You can even swap your all blockchain related tokens with a minimum cost 0.75% of tokens. There is also a browser option to explore various blockchain related sites.
There are so many ways to create your Hive account. https://hive.blog/ is free of cost but it takes time to verify an account.

On the contrary , if someone uses the dapps of the developers, then one have to pay for that. Here users get an ”instant verified account*.
If you are not a Hive user, then you can create your account using email on wombat, Metamask and Venly. After creating an account, need a Spellbook. It is a kind of Entrance gate to enter in splinterlands. It costs $10 to play splinterlands.
One can choose Hive/Hbd too.
You have to purchase it once for a single account. If you have multiple accounts then you have to purchase a separate Spellbook for each account. Without it you can play #practice but will not be eligible for rewards. One can purchase spellbook after login Here

Here is a snapshot of the process to purchasing a spellbook. This spellbook allows one to earn. For more earning need to purchase monsters and summoners. Remember that with spellbook you will get single level cards and summoners to play but you can't sell or rent them.
After purchasing Spellbook, monsters and summoners you can participate in wild ranked battle or modern ranked battle. Join tournaments for more rewards. Join Guild or create your own Guild to earn Merits and sps.
Merits allow you to purchase Gladius cases. Now after the end of season, one has to purchase a wildpass to enter in battle. It costs 2k Dec. Dec-B or credits. These are the splinterlands token that we get from splinterlands. You can purchase these token from various websites like https://hive-engine.com and https://tribaldex com. For an easy process, you can use the Hive Keychain application to open websites.

PERCEIVE TO SUMMONERS AND MONSTERS

●Elements-

There are *6 elements” in splinterlands and each element has multiple summoners and monsters. These six elements are Fire, Water, Earth, Death, Dragon, Life and Neutral too. Upgrade your summoners and monsters to increase the winning ratio. More wins, more rewards.

●Summoners-

Summoners are the most important part of the game.. you can't imagine the existence of a game without summoners. The structure of the game is such that their role automatically becomes necessary. These summoners provide buffs and dbuffs in the form of additional Melee, Range and Magic attack. Some of them also provide armor, Poison, piercing, Scattershot, Divine shield, Thorn, Blast, speed, Return fire, Magic Reflect.

●Monsters-

Monsters which are the form of cards with attacking abilities. Some of them are non attacking cards too. Each monster comes with particular stats like Health, armor, speed and attack.
Mana is a form of card combat that adjusts them in six card slots. Recently there is some change in the game, so sometimes we get FiveAlive and Fab Four ruleset too.
Where we can use only 5 or 4 cards. Most of the monsters have stats like health, armor and different attacks.

There are three attacking categories- Magic , Melee and Range. Magic that performs from any position. Melee attack without opportunity and sneak from first position.
If they have opportunity or Melee then they can perform from any position. In Fog of war ruleset, they don't get this ability.

Ranged attack without Close Range ability will perform from distance. Armor provides an extra layer of security against Melee and range attack.

So these are the basic things of play2earn splinterlands gaming platform. There are more options for the players to increase their rewards and positions like participating in tournaments, Guild, level the cards, summoners, rental market, purchasing and staking sps.
