Splinterlands: Weekly social media challenge share

Greetings splinterlands gaming fans!
Blessed weekend to my all friends.
This is my weekly social media challenge share. Like the previous season, in the current season there is lots of expectation from play2earn. Almost half of the way crossed in the current season.

Still need to improve my ratings and Glint amount. Till now I am able to unlock Diamond League second and hope with the end of season I will be very close to Champion League.
Meanwhile I finished my Brawl combat and my team My Guild team claimed second position with equal points. My contribution was six wins and three losses. I got 6k merit from there and purchased three Gladius packs. Couple of rare monsters from there but no Epic nor legendary from the previous month.

GOING TO DISTANCE

There are two similar rule set going to distance and keep your distance. There is a certain thing that we can't use Melee monsters in these two battle ruleset.
If I talk about going to distance then here we can use only Range attack monsters. For that Lir Deepswimmer and Ilthan are two best option with Headwinds Range attack. Unfortunately there are Headwinds range monster but in count. Anachron Bolter is single range attack rare monster in the Life unit from Rebellion origin. There is no other range monster with Headwinds in the life unit.
In contrary in water unit we get four Range attack monster with Headwinds including two legendary Endura Brune and Gallicus. Rest two cards Naga Windmaster and Mar Toren Trader are common and rare monsters.
The interesting fact is that only single card Naga windmaster provides Headwinds from first level. Common card provide this ability from 4th level while legendary cards provide this ability at Max level.

KEEP YOUR DISTANCE

It is a similar rule set like going to distance but there is a little difference between these two ruleset. In this rule set we can use magic Monsters and range attack monster.
Even one can use non attacking Monsters too. After the arrival of weapons training ability monster, players often use non attacking Monsters with range and magic attacks. Do you think that game strategies are changing very fast?
And if we do not change our strategy and Cards portfolio including sps then it will be difficult for us to move forward for higher level.
Anyway if you want to dominate In keep your distance then you must have focus on your summoner, Silenced ability monster, Amplify ability, Return fire and magic reflect. With the time there are some awesome summoners and monsters revealed that can be effective in keep your distance. Not out player execute their plan but nobody is beginner here. With the condition of wild pass the player enters in higher League who has faith in splinterland. So competition is very tough. Need to upgrade Monsters and summoners on a regular interval.

LIR DEEPSWIMMER V ILTHAN

I don't think that there is no competition between Lir Deepswimmer and Ilthan. It has plenty of ability including Legendary factor. Lir Deepswimmer is still a costly summoner that cost $7 for single card.
It is an untamed edition 7 Mana summoner with Blind, Return fire and 2 additional armor. That's why it's price is higher than Ilthan. Lir Deepswimmer is a best option in Going to distance ruleset but there are you players who owns this legendary summoner.
The player who joined splinterland lately will not consider about Lir Deepswimmer as there is alt option of Ilthan. But in contrary who think that they can earn a passive income in investing splinterlands will purchase Lir Deepswimmer. As the winning ratio always impacts you rewards, ratings and League. For that there should be a good collection of summoners and monsters.
Now let's have a quick review over Ilthan. It is an epic 4 mana summoner from Riftwatcher edition. It is designed for Going to distance ruleset. It was revealed I quickly purchased it as Lir Deepswimmer was out of my reach. This epic summoner comes with two buffs additional speed and Return fire. It is a small budget and packs a summoner than Lir Deepswimmer. That's why I purchased it and upgraded it into level five. Most of the time when I have battle in Going to distance then sure I like to use it. Although here I get only single Headwinds support from Anachron Bolter.

BATTLE AGAINST LUX VEGA IN GOING TO DISTANCE

No doubt I was going to face Max level neutral legendary summoner Lux Vega, so I was a little disappointed.
I know well that it is a tough opponent with max level Lir Deepswimmer. Still my faith was with the perfect team combination and monsters. I decided to use rift watcher edition Ilthan with single Headwinds monster Anachron Bolter.
For that I decided to use Shield ability monster Cyclops at first position. After that Heal ability Cornealus at second position.

I was thinking due to its Heal it will provide lots of opportunity for Return Fire. Using Anachron Bolter at third position. It was my mistake and it should be at last position. After that I placed Venari Marksrat to support Drybone Raider with Martyr. No doubt Drybone Raider is a great Legendary card with double strike Melee and range in going to distance ruleset.
At last position I placed Shatter ability monster War Pegasus . It means in this battle squad I was using two Shatter ability monsters War Pegasus and Drybone Raider. You will see that my opponent was using not only armour based summoner but also monster too.
The impact of shield ability monster Cyclops was great that irritated to opponent battle squad alot. Rest of the task completed by thorn of Cornealus and Shatter of Drybone Raider. Till last round I was losing this battle but it was Thorn of Cornealus that saved me. It was an amazing and thrilling battle. When I finished the battle and their was single range attack monster was remaining.
If opponent Drybone Raider able to attack first then it was sure that I could lost the battle. But speed of War Pegasus destroyed two health and two remaining health was damaged with Thorn.
