Hello friends of Splinterlands, here we are at the new weekly event of Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge, the usual event in which the focus is the discussion on the game's rulesets, inviting players to share their gaming experiences, strategies and some advice, in especially for new players who are studying the rules of the game. This week's theme is the Melee Mayhem rulset, players will be able to deploy cards with Melee attack in any position because there will be no action limits for these units, which usually only attack in the first position.

My battle started well, after the first two turns I already knocked down two opposing units, but then my opponent's power definitely took over and the situation was definitely reversed and unfortunately the outcome was not positive. Despite having deployed 4 cards with melee attack and two no attack cards, a bit like my opponent even if deployed in different positions, my strategy did not produce satisfactory results and bye bye victory

Among the cards that I consider truly indispensable is BAAKJIRA, a monster without offensive abilities but not for this reason a card to be underestimated, indeed the cards without attack have numerous single and group abilities that are often decisive for the outcome of the battle! I have the golden card, therefore level 2 which offers 3 skills:

Void: Reduces the damage of magical attacks
Slow: casts a penalty on opponents to slow them down
Strength: Increases the health of allied monsters

But, despite everything, the victory was not mine. Going back in time, I would have deployed another card with a melee attack instead of a no card attack and with a bit more luck perhaps the situation could have changed.

Ciao amici di Splinterlands, eccoci al nuovo appuntamento settimanale di Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge, il consueto appuntamento in cui focus è la discussione sui rulset del gioco, invitando i giocatori a condividere le esperienze di gioco, le strategie e alcuni consigli, in particolare per i nuovi players che sono allo studio delle regole del gioco. Il tema di questa settimana è il rulset Melee Mayhem, i giocatori potranno schierare infatti carte con attacco Melee in qualsiasi posizione perché non ci saranno limiti d'azione per queste unità, che solitamente attaccano solo in prima posizione.

La mia battaglia è iniziata bene, dopo i primi due turni ho già abbattuto due unità avversarie, ma poi la potenza del mio avversario ha decisamente preso il sopravvento e la situazione si è decisamente ribaltata e purtroppo l'esito non è stato positivo. Nonostante abbia schierato 4 carte con attacco melee e due no attack card, un po' come il mio avversario anche se schierati in posizione differenti, la mia strategia non ha prodotto risultati soddisfacenti e bye bye vittoria

Tra le carte che reputo davvero indispensabile è BAAKJIRA, un mostro privo di abilità offensive ma non per questo una carta da sottovalutare, anzi le carte senza attacco hanno numerose abilità singole e di gruppo che sono spesso determinanti per l'esito della battaglia! Io possiedo la carta dorata, quindi livello 2 che offre ben 3 abilità:

Void: riduce il danno degli attacchi magici
Slow: lancia un malus contro gli avversari per rallentarli
Strenghten: aumenta la salute dei mostri alleati

Ma, nonostante tutto, la vittoria non è stata mia. Ritornando indietro nel tempo, avrei schierato un'altra carta con attacco melee al posto di una no card attack e con un pizzico di fortuna in più forse la situazione sarebbe potuta cambiare.
