The new Rebellion Collection

For those of you who came here through my WEB2 social media and don't know #Splinterlands, this fantastic card game running on Web3, the blockchain called Hive. It's a play-to-win card game, you can win assets that have real value, and trade them in different markets.

The deck was recently updated by the package called Rebellion, it is the fifth card collection consisting of 96 new cards that also brought new abilities, which changed the entire strategy of the deck. game!

In this post I'm buying new cards for my deck, being able to receive new cards, which I didn't have until then, or even receive repeat cards. In this case, repeated cards are used to increase the level of existing cards, unlocking new attributes or skills!

1. My collection

The collection of cards called Gladius are exclusive for use in Braw battles, the competition between different clans. To be able to buy these cards, the player must be in a clan that participates in Brawl.

Gladiator cards are Soulbound, which means they can’t be traded, delegated, or sold. However, you can still convert them into Dark Energy Crystals.

The cards are also frozen in terms of trading, it is not possible to buy or sell on third-party markets.

According to PekMonster, my Gladius collection is currently equivalent to:

• 18,300 CP (Burn Value)
• 3,096 PP (Production Points)

It's a very honest collection, but we have valuable cards that help me a lot in my daily life.

Of course, my main card is *Quora Towershead and it is always considered to be used in battles. However, the levels of these cards are low and an upgrade is necessary! Let's see what we can achieve!

2. Buying 20 Gladius Packs

To buy 20 Glaidus packs, I needed to invest a total of 40000 Merits.

Merits are received according to the Guild rank in Braw. It is also possible to exchange GLINT for Merits in the new market, this is a very recent novelty.

I've accumulated a lot of merit playing Braw and now it's time to update my collection by opening new packs.

Each pack contains 5 random cards from the GLADIUS Gladiator set, with at least one guaranteed RARE CARD OR BETTER!

There is a guarantee that there will be at least one rare or better card in every pack opened.

3. Opening packs

Opening packs is really fun due to the animation carried out by the website #splinterlands

Let's see the result per line:

In the first row we have Katrelba Gobson, which is really worth it because I use this card a lot.

In the second line we have more Katrelba Gobson but now in a Gold version, which is very good, and with her another gold card doing double duty in the Earth element.

In the third row we have a legendary card! Let's take a closer look at this card:

Jini Guise is from the Earth element and has a magical attack, which combines very well with the element's current synergy. It also grants shields which is great, so I'm sure I'll be using this card a lot!

In the fourth row we have four gold cards, which is very good, but I haven't used them that much.

In the fifth row, two of the cars I use a lot appeared! Will I be able to make progress?that of any of them? I hope so!

In the sixth and last line we have the much desired *Quora Towershead which can now be closer to its evolution! This pack opening was really worth it and now let's see how my main cards turned out after they were evolved!

4. Bottom line

We leveled up the desired cards, we received BCX from all of them, but in the case of Quora it was still insufficient for an evolution!

We also had the new acquisition of a legendary card in addition to several gold copies, which made me very pleased!
