Es algo que me llena de alegría y orgullo, vivir en un departamento que está lleno de ríos y cascadas magestuosas, que nos regalan vida con cada gota. Es grato poder contar con esta abundancia hidrica en nuestro departamento, y saber además que con esta se pueden beneficiar algunos departamentos vecinos que no cuentan con esta recurso vital.
Los ríos más importantes de Antioquia son el río Magdalena, el cauca y el Atrato y debido a esto permite tener varias represas y embalses para la generación de energía eléctrica, que de igual forma a abastece gran parte del territorio nacional e inclusive exporta a ecuador.
Es grandioso vivir entre estas montañas y planicies de este departamento y sin duda si vienen a Colombia, deben venir a visitar.

It is something that fills me with joy and pride, to live in a department that is full of majestic rivers and waterfalls, which give us life with every drop. It is gratifying to be able to count on this abundance of water in our department, and to know that it can also benefit some neighboring departments that do not have this vital resource.
The most important rivers in Antioquia are the Magdalena, the Cauca and the Atrato and because of this it allows us to have several dams and reservoirs for the generation of electricity, which also supplies much of the national territory and even exports to Ecuador.
It is great to live among these mountains and plains of this department and certainly if you come to Colombia, you should come to visit.
