Zard and Beccss Weekly Newsletter: July 24th 2023

Hello everyone and welcome back to the Zard and Beccss weekly newsletter!

New week new newsletter! Let's jump right into this one and see what has happened in the last week!

We all have that one ongoing joke here of Beccss's one stream a month but she is back for good! She has outdone her personal record of one stream a month to 3 this month so far 😆. @Beccss has been very busy behind the scenes in recent months keeping tabs on all of your tournament points, writing new posts, and creating graphics for all our Youtube videos and perks for being a subscriber to us.

Now she is taking a step back from behind the scene and going straight back in front of the camera with her brand new favourite game My Pet Hooligan. She has practiced and practiced to show you guys what the game is like and is finally making some progress on the game! Check out her tweet below for some content on the game but make sure you follow her on Twitch for some gameplay and to jump into a lobby with her.

There is only one week left to be involved with this month's legendary giveaways for our subscribers. Here's a quick reminder of what each tier is trying to win this month:

Tier 1 - Fungus Fiend
Tier 2 - Chaos Dragon
Tier 3 - Astral Entity

If you want to try and win one of these amazing prizes, all you have to do is be a tier one, tier two, or tier three subscriber on Twitch and be in the stream on the first Sunday in August to take part - yes it is that simple!

In terms of our tournament point system, we would like to thank everyone who joins in our tournaments, and a massive thank you to our Twitch subs who take part too! The more subscribers enter and place in the top 7, the more chances you have of winning some amazing prizes ranging from Riftwater packs to Chaos Legion Packs.

All of our Twitch subscribers are automatically entered into the tournament point system if they play in any of our tournaments. It doesn't matter when you subscribe to us, as long as it is before our last tournament of the Month.

We are getting so close to the end of the month and it's still anyone's game - here is the current standings for this month.

@Davethegreat has taken the lead with 9 points but @supermani is close behind him with 7 points - all he needs to do is come 5th in the next tournament and he will be back in the lead. But we also can't forget about @canada804 who isn't completely out of the running yet with 6 points.

It's still anyone's game as either one of these two can overtake Dave, or someone can swoop in and subscribe to claim all their previous points from the month. Find out next time on Splinterball Z.

Our Splinterlands Tournaments have been published and are live for you all to join in with.

Our first tournament will kick off on Monday 24th July at 6 pm UTC live on Splinterlands TV. It will cost 5 DEC to enter and has a Bronze Modern ruleset.

Our next tournament will be a Silver modern league tournament which is also live-streamed on Splinterlands TV.

Our final tournament of the week will be on Sunday 30 July and have a Bronze modern ruleset. This will be live-streamed on my personal Twitch channel.

There are loads of DEC up for grabs to the top 11 players and a pack for those who place 1st. If you are a tier 2 or tier 3 subscriber to my Twitch you will receive double payouts. So if you come 1st and get 2.3k DEC - you'll actually be walking away with 4.6k DEC!

Another new game that I have started playing is @cryptoshots.nft! This is an amazing FPS game that also has a PvP aspect to the game.

The game is available to play on Wax or Hive so all you Hive-ers who want a new game to play this is something you can easily get into with your Hive Keychain.

Crypto-shots have two main paths you can join in and play with. You have the free-to-play aspect where you will not be earning so you can try before you buy, and also the play-to-earn aspect so you can earn while you play! To join in with the play-to-earn aspect of the game, you will just need to get your hands on a PvP Alpha pass which can be purchased on the Hive or Wax Blockchain.

Every Saturday at 8 pm UTC there is a Crypto-Shots tournament hosted on my Twitch channel so you can either join in and try and get some goodies, or watch and see how the game works.

There is also another tournament hosted by Downtown Detail which happens on Sundays at 2 am UTC.

During my next Crypto-Shots tournament stream, there will be not one, not two, but four PvP Alpha passes up for grabs. So why not come and join the stream and try and get your hands on one of these and start earning on a new FPS game?

If you want to learn more about the game or have any questions, join their Discord and ask the main man and lead Dev "sniper | pew pew founder" anything, he will help you learn all things Crypto-Shots.

As the month slowly comes to an end we are still accepting new Splinterlands fights for a DEC prize for the top 3 battlers. If you are a tier 2 or tier 3 subscriber on Twitch you can receive double payouts (Sub perks really go across the board 😉). There is no current leader as no games will be watched until the end of the month so there is a fair chance for everyone to get involved. It could be a win, it could be a loss, it doesn't matter as any game can win this - as long as it is one that you played.

To enter the contest all you have to do is be a part of our Discord, react to Zard and Beccss, and leave your fight in the Splinterlands battle channel. You can enter as many times as you like in a month and can be ranked games, brawls, or tournament battles. The only rule is that it has to be a fight that you have done, it cannot be someone else's fight.

As mentioned at the start of the post, Beccss has started playing a brand new game called My Pet Hooligan.

Below is a montage of some of Beccss' favourite moments in a game with a group of people.

Sadly MPH isn't publically released and is on closed Alpha testing, but if the Alpha is like this, we can't wait to see what the full game will have.

It will be released on the ETH chain and downloadable through the Epic Game store. The team has announced that it is free to play and will stay like that.
