Today i will share a recipe of delicious split green gram pancake This simple yet delicious recipe combines the wholesome goodness of split green gram with aromatic spices, creating a dish that is both comforting and satisfying. ๐ณ1 cup split green gram (moong dal) ๐ณ1 teaspoon chili flakes
๐ณ 1teadpoon cumin powder
๐ณ4-5 garlic cloves
๐ณA handful of fresh coriander leaves
๐ณ1 small onion, finely chopped
๐ณ 1 small tomato, finely chopped
๐ณ1 small capsicum, finely chopped
๐ณ Saga pyaz chopped
๐ณSalt to taste
๐ณ1 teaspoon Eno fruit salt
๐ณOil
๐๐ง๐๐ฅ๐๐ง๐๐ฉ๐๐ค๐ฃ
๐ชท Wash and soak the split green gram (moong dal) in water for 4-5 hours or overnight. Drain the water completely.
๐ชท In a blender, add the soaked moong dal, green chilies, garlic cloves,ginger, cumin seeds and fresh coriander leaves. Blend into a smooth paste.
๐ชท Transfer the paste into a mixing bowl. Add finely chopped onion, tomato, capsicum, green onion, cumin powder, chili flakes and salt to taste. Mix well.
๐ชท Sprinkle Eno fruit salt over the mixture and gently fold it in.
๐ชท Heat the pan and grease it with ๐ค๐๐ก. Spoon a thick layer of the moong dal mixture onto the greased pan.Cover the pan with a lid and cook on low heat until the bottom side is golden and crispy.
Carefully flip the fritter using a spatula and cook the other side until golden and crispy.
๐ชท Once both sides are cooked to perfection, remove the pancake from the pan. Serve the crispy moong dal pancake hot with your favorite chutney or sauce.
