Okra Masala fry. Bhindi Masala Fry is a popular and flavorful Indian dish made with tender okra cooked in a rich and aromatic masala.This dish combines the earthy taste of okra with a blend of spices, making it a perfect accompaniment to roti, paratha, or rice.Let's Cook Bhindi Masala Fry together!

๐™„๐™ฃ๐™œ๐™ง๐™š๐™™๐™ž๐™š๐™ฃ๐™ฉ๐™จ:
โœจ 300 grams bhindi (okra)
โœจ 2 tablespoons oil
โœจ 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
โœจ 1teaspoon fennel seeds
โœจ 1 large onion, finely chopped
โœจ 2 tomatoes, finely chopped
โœจ 6-7 cloves garlic
โœจ 1" ginger slice
โœจ 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
โœจ 1 teaspoon coriander powder
โœจ1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
โœจ 1 teaspoon red chili powder (adjust to taste)
โœจ Salt to taste
โœจ Fresh coriander leaves, chopped (for garnish)
โœจโœจ Lemon juice

๐™Ž๐™ฉ๐™š๐™ฅ ๐™—๐™ฎ ๐™Ž๐™ฉ๐™š๐™ฅ ๐™ˆ๐™š๐™ฉ๐™๐™ค๐™™:
๐™‹๐™ง๐™š๐™ฅ๐™–๐™ง๐™–๐™ฉ๐™ž๐™ค๐™ฃ๐™จ:
๐ŸWash the bhindi and pat them dry thoroughly with a kitchen towel. Any moisture can make the dish slimy.
๐ŸCut the bhindi into 1-inch pieces and set aside.

๐ŸFirst, prepare the paste by combining a 1-inch piece of peeled and roughly chopped ginger, 6-7 peeled garlic cloves, and 2 roughly chopped tomatoes in a blender. Blend until smooth paste.


๐˜พ๐™ค๐™ค๐™ ๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™œ ๐˜ฝ๐™๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™™๐™ž:
๐Ÿ Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan over medium heat.
๐Ÿ Add the bhindi pieces and saut๐™š until they are lightly browned and cooked through. This should take about 10-12 minutes.
๐Ÿ Remove the bhindi from the pan and set aside.


๐™ˆ๐™–๐™ ๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™œ ๐™ฉ๐™๐™š ๐™ˆ๐™–๐™จ๐™–๐™ก๐™–:
๐Ÿ In the same pan, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of oil.
๐ŸAdd cumin and fennel seeds and let them splutter

๐Ÿ Add the chopped onions and sautรฉ until they turn golden brown.


Mix Spices
๐Ÿ Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, and red chili powder. Add salt to taste and Mix well.

๐Ÿ Add the prepared paste of ginger, garlic and tomatoes and cook on medium heat until the paste thickens and the oil starts to separate, about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent burning.


๐˜พ๐™ค๐™ข๐™—๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™š:
๐Ÿ Add the cooked bhindi to the masala and mix well.
๐Ÿ Cook for another 5-7 minutes, allowing the bhindi to absorb the flavors of the masala.
๐Ÿ Cook the bhindi on low heat until it becomes tender.

๐™๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™–๐™ก ๐™๐™ค๐™ช๐™˜๐™: ๐ŸGarnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves.

๐ŸAdd a squeeze of lemon juice for a tangy flavor. Serve hot with roti, paratha, or rice.
