I hope you are happy and healthy today i wil share a new recipe simple green beans curry
Beans curry made in Indian style with green beans, onions, tomatoes, lentils, spices and herbs. This comforting and easy to make dish goes well as a side with any meal. A simple beans recipe like this proves that side dishes don't have to be boring. Green beans though not a very versatile vegetable, it can be cooked in so many ways beans very delicious and healthy side.Green beans also known as string beans, snap beans or French beans are grown in many varieties across the world. Any kind of green beans, being low in fat are a good source of vitamins and minerals. Apart from stir frying they are also used in a lot of Indian dishes like sambar, pulao, pav bhaji, vegetable and curries.🌿

🌿INGREDIENTS 🌿
250 garam green beans
2 tsp oil
1 green chilli
3chopped onion
2 chopped tomatoes
1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
half teaspoon Cumin
Half teaspoon turmeric powder
Half teaspoon red chilli powder
coriander leaves for garnish

🌿First of all, cut green beans into small pieces and then add water to it.🌿

🌿method of making green beans🌿

  1. Pour 2 tablespoons oil to a pan and heat it. When the oil turns hot, add teaspoon cumin seeds
    As soon as the spices splutter, add chopped onions ,
    1 slit green chili (optional, omit for kids)

2.ginger garlic paste and add turmeric powder and red chilli powder.Saute the onions on a medium heat until transparent and lose the raw smell.

3.Add tomatoes chopped (2 medium tomato), 1½ teaspoon salt Cook until mushy and soft. If required you may cover the pan, so the tomatoes cook faster. Tomatoes should lose the raw flavor. Meanwhile chop 250 grams (12 pound) green bean Add them to the pan and saute for 3 to 4 mins.

4.Cover and cook until the beans are tender. I do not add water to cook this curry. But it depends on the kind of beans you use. If required you may splash some water as they cook. Once the beans are tender, taste test and add more salt if required. Garnish with 1 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves.🌿
Serve Beans Curry with Rice, roti or have it on its own.🌿
