Welcome to the Social Media Challenge. We are celebrating another week and we are going to continue with the series that commemorates the six years of life of the @splinterlands universe. If a couple of weeks ago I told you about my beginnings and some of my mistakes, this week I'm going to detail one of my next goals in the game A goal I'm working on every new season in order to improve my decks for free. It's a strategy that has a lot to do with summoners. I'll explain it to you now so.... let's get started.
Bienvenido al Social Media Challenge. Seguimos, una semana más, de celebración y vamos a continuar con la serie que conmemora los seis años de vida del universo @splinterlands. Si hace un par de semanas te contaba mis inicios y algunos de mis errores, esta semana te voy a detallar uno de mis próximos objetivos en el juego. Un objetivo en el que estoy trabajando cada nueva temporada de cara a mejorar mis mazos de una manera gratuita. Y es que es una estrategia que tiene mucho que ver con los invocadores. Te la explico ya así que... comenzamos.
If I tell you that Splinterlands is a changing universe in which, as in the real world, you have to adapt to new realities, I'm not telling you anything. Maybe if you have just arrived in the last few weeks to the game, yes, but if you are a veteran, you already know that the strategy that works for us today may not be a winning one in a few weeks' time. One of the most recent developments has been the inclusion of rewards in the form of something called Glint. With this "glint" you can go to the market and exchange it for different types of card packs or rewards. Well, my short-term goal is based solely on how I spend that glint earned from daily battles and end-of-season rewards.
Si te digo que Splinterlands es un universo cambiante en el que, como en el mundo real, hay que ir adaptándose a las nuevas realidades no te estoy descubriendo nada. Quizá si acabas de llegar en las últimas semanas al juego si, pero si eres veterano ya sabes que la estrategia que hoy nos sirve quizá dentro de unas semanas ya no sea ganadora. Una de las más recientes novedades ha sido la inclusión de las recompensas en forma de algo llamado Glint. Con ese "glint" puedes acudir al mercado e intercambiarlo con diferentes tipos de packs de cartas o de recompensas. Pues bien, mi objetivo a corto plazo se basa exclusivamente en cómo gasto ese glint ganado en las batallas diarias y en las recomepensas de final de temporada.
Right now we have two ways to spend the Glint generated. Either through what are known as Rarity Draws or through the Loot Chests option. In Rarity Draws you can say that you buy a card of a certain rarity. You are guaranteed to get a random common, rare, epic or legendary card depending on the cost you choose to pay. In Rarity Draws the system is very similar to the chests that were given out before where you can get random cards, potions, merits or energy... Right now my strategy is based on spending all my glint in the Rarity Draws section and buying chests of rare cards... The reason? To get summoners...
Ahora mismo tenemos dos maneras de gastar el Glint generado. Bien a través de lo que se conoce como Rarity Draws o a través de la opción Loot Chests. En Rarity Draws se puede decir que compras una carta de una rareza determinada. Te aseguras obtener si o si una carta aleatoria común, rara, épica o legendaria en función del coste que elijas pagar. En Rarity Draws el sistema es muy similar a los cofres que se repartían antes en los que puedes obtener cartas aleatorias, pociones, méritos o energía. Ahora mismo mi estrategia se basa en gastar todo mi glint en la sección Rarity Drawas y comprando cofres de cartas raras... ¿El motivo? Conseguir invocadores...
You can already sense where my strategy is going. I want to level up my summoners so I can use better cards. The idea is to get them all to at least level 6 A goal I don't have far to go. Ahora mismo mi roster tiene en nivel 5 a Franzz Ruffmane y Helios Matriarch y en nivel 4 a Eternan Brune, Pembrook Nymph, Loob Lowland y Octavia Shadowmeld a los que hay hay que añadir a Kelya Frendul y Obsidian que ya los tengo a nivel 6. That is, my idea is to have at least one summoner from each deck at a minimum of level 6, something that will give a huge versatility to my roster and that should give me stability to climb to the highest leagues of the game, which I'm already flirting with every season.
Ya puedes intuir por dónde va mi estrategia. Quiero conseguir elevar el nivel de mis invocadores para poder usar mejores cartas. La idea es llevarlos, al menos, a nivel 6 a todos ellos. Un objetivo para el que no me queda mucho por conseguir. Ahora mismo mi roster tiene en nivel 5 a Franzz Ruffmane y Helios Matriarch y en nivel 4 a Eternan Brune, Pembrook Nymph, Loob Lowland y Octavia Shadowmeld a los que hay hay que añadir a Kelya Frendul y Obsidian que ya los tengo a nivel 6. Es decir, mi idea es llegar a tener a un mínimo de nivel 6 a, al menos, un invocador de cada mazo. Algo que va a dar una versatilidad mayúscula a mi roster y que me debe dar estabilidad para subir a las ligas más altas del juego con las que ya estoy coqueteando cada temporada.
