Mi Aceh is a traditional food inherited from the ancestors of Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam. Noodles that have special spices and herbs and are rich in flavor. This has become one of the favorite noodles of Indonesians.

This typical Acehnese food is served with various toppings. Starting from beef, chicken, to seafood. With a splash of thick broth, it adds a different taste from other noodles in Indonesia.

Mi Aceh can be served with a variant of stagnant, wet, or dry broth.

Reported from Antara, Mi Aceh was originally brought by the Chinese who then processed it with special Aceh spices since the 13th century AD.

Mi Aceh was apparently previously known as mie teupong or in Indonesian it means flour noodles. Only after that did many travelers and tourists who visited Aceh spread stories about the deliciousness of this one noodle.
