Splinterlands - Share Your Battle Challenge - Gargoya Scrapper
This week's Splinterland's Share Your Battle Challenge is to use the Gargoya Scrapper.
Gargoya Scrapper
When I was considering using Gargoya Scrapper, I assumed my opponent would use Magic so the Gold level 3 would help against that with the Void ability.
It gains this ability at level 3 but does not get any other increases from level 1 - no additional health, speed or attack which most cards get when moving from level 1 to level 2.
Match Rules Sets
Mana Cap: 24
Rule Set: Silenced Summoners
This is where I started making my mistakes in the assumptions when creating my lineup. For Silenced Summoners, I always pick a summoner with the lowest mana so I picked "Mother Khala" which has a mana of 3 and added +1 to all monsters health. However, I forgot I had not leveled up this summoner yet.
Tank: Shieldbearer with Taunt ability. This will help keep my opponent from damaging any of my back line during the first and/or second rounds. However if my opponent uses magic, they will kill Shieldbearer quickly.
Second position: Gargoya Scrapper with Void ability. The void ability will help incase they get by my tank with magic. When I started seeing the battle unfold, I realized my summoner was not leveled up so there would not be any void ability. Good think my opponent did not use magic.
Third position: Scavo Hireling This monster has the repair ability so should repair my tank's shield each round when damaged.
Fourth position: Stitch Leach I selected this monster to attack my opponents back line hopefully picking them off before my tank was killed.
Fifth position: Celestial Harpy I selected this monster to also attack my opponents back line. With the opportunity ability, maybe it will kill the damaged monsters from the Stitch Leach attack.
Sixth position: Venari Crystalsmith I selected this monster to heal my tank providing my other attack monsters to get rid of their back line before my tank is killed.

Did It Work?
Yes and No. Yes, I won the match but the Gargoya Scapper did not attack or be attacked once. So did the Gargoya Scapper add value to my lineup, No. I think any card would have worked in it's place against the Fire Splinter.
However I do believe things would have been different if my opponent would have used monsters with magic.

They literally have attempted my murder and are trying to kill me with V2K and RNM. Five years this has been happening to me, it started here, around people that are still here. Homeland security has done nothing at all, they are not here to protect us. Dont we pay them to stop shit like this? The NSA, CIA, FBI, Police and our Government has done nothing. Just like they did with the Havana Syndrome, nothing. Patriot Act my ass. The American government is completely incompetent. The NSA should be taken over by the military and contained Immediately for investigation. I bet we can get to the sources of V2K and RNM then. https://ecency.com/fyrstikken/@fairandbalanced/i-am-the-only-motherfucker-on-the-internet-pointing-to-a-direct-source-for-voice-to-skull-electronic-terrorism ..... https://ecency.com/gangstalking/@acousticpulses/electronic-terrorism-and-gaslighting--if-you-downvote-this-post-you-are-part-of-the-problem if you run into one of them you may want to immediately shoot them in the face.
