Waterton Lake from the Bear Hump

avatar
(Edited)

The weather around here has been hovering around 30° for the last couple of days. Very hot, almost too hot for hiking. But we came all this way to get in some hiking, so a hiking we went. The first one was the Bear Hump. Short and somewhat steep, throw in the heat, which made it a bit tough. The view from the top was well worth the effort! Spectacular it was. Couldn’t help but imagine how cool it would be to come back up here close to sunset. Maybe another time. All in all, a great short hike. Hopefully next time we come the weather will be cooler. Thanks for stopping by.

Very hot out easy too …. It’s good to be close to a lake or river for swimming with this weather

It's 45 degrees here at the moment, but 30 degrees is hot enough, and you've got very pretty lake shorts. Thanks for sharing

There's fun in hiking and the photos are nice, especially, the one that shows stones on the walking path

Some great views. I feel that even though it was hot, the weather was actually great for some stunning shots.

What a nice view! Too bad it's getting a little hot, much harder to hike in the heat... Sunset would be nice there, as long as you could see well enough to safely descend. Great pictures, the first two are beautiful! What a nice place for a trip,!

It was fantastic, aside from the extra heat to deal with. Thanks!
