MEDUSA | SPT W-316 Splinterlands Art Contest, Digital Art

Hello, how are you all hive friends?

Hopefully you are all well, and always given blessings in this life ๐Ÿ˜Š

This is the 91st post since I joined the weekly art contest held by @Splinterlands, here I draw for the MEDUSA character from the Splinterlands MEDUSA card game.

I chose this character because accidentally when reloading the Splinterlands website, the first thing I saw was this character, at first I thought it would be fun to draw Medusa with snake hair.

But it turns out this character is very difficult, especially making a lot of snake hair and I made it manually by drawing it one by one. Although some of the angles of the snake's face I copy and paste from other snake faces, this is quite time consuming. Also it turns out there is another obstacle, namely making snake scales.. Oh my, in the end I only made some line art to make it look like snake scales without making it too detailed, because it was really confusing ha.ha..ha

But overall I like my work this time, this is a very exciting struggle๐Ÿ˜Š.

So please enjoy my fanart treat for the Splinterlands contest this timeโ˜บ

For coloring, I use the same full-color American comic style with semi-realism colors.

To create this character, I used Gpen's thick and thin line art.

This time I don't have a target because participating in the @splinterlands character drawing contest is already great in my opinion, and congratulations to the top 3 winners and other winners ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿฅณ

And also thank you to my friends in the Hive community, curators and other artists who have always supported me in creating my work so far.

This work took me 5.5 hours with 2 hours of line art sketching and 3.5 hours of coloring and effects.
