Hello guys

Do you know that we have two new Promo cards available now? Even they are still on official store, you can make a try out using rental market, because some people alraedy put them on the list there.

These two cards have one same specialty , it is the HALVING ABILITY. They will make our opponent attack plumped because the damage gets halving.

BARON FYATT

The first one is the Legendary Card, Baron Fyatt. As the Legendary one, people expect this baron as the main theme or main char in this Promo episode.

To be honest, I love the design and color. I like the look of Baron Fyatt, simple but displaying the character of that one. However...

The numbers and the ability are awful... 2 Magic Damage, 2 Speed and 6 Health are not the attributes we expect from a Legendary card. His abilities are very debatable, I know some are awesome, like a combination of a halving and an ambush. Yet he has scatter shots, so he will get two opponent halved in the first round.

Easy to say that, even I know well that it's hard to use this guy. No wonder many people dislike him

HENCHLING ENFORCER

This one is the rare rarity one, and I think it's a lot better than Baron FYATT. For me, Henchling Enforcer is what a PROMO card should be...

He is great in all thing... On defense, he has good Health and good armor and later he gets camouflage ability... making him survive until the last.

On the offense, he is an absolute beast.... 4 speed and 4 range damage with a true strike is more than what we need.

THE BARON FYATT TRIAL

I know that BARON FYATT is not something that great, however I believe there is a possibility that he might be the next Dr Blight. The one that when he got introduced, people were like... MEEEHHH.... and later somehow until now Dr Blight is still a force to reckon.

So like it or not, we need to test him out first!!

BATTLE #1

The first battle is a modern bronze league. I rarely play on Modern because the matchmaking is very long, so I get bored first... However for a trial, Modern is a good place because there is where we seek a human only opponents.

Because this is not a share your battle or battle mage secret challenge, I won't go detail in each round. Thing starts to look interesting on the 3rd round when Baron Fyatt takes on the main tank position due to the first 2 cards have fallen.

He looks pretty decent there, because he halves the Cursed Windeku Melee Damage. So this condition is not on my radar previously. 6 health point mage seems a good deal as a tank here, it's hard to knock down him.

Until the end of the battle, Baron Fyatt survives and we win this battle.

BATTLE #2

The the second battle is the same from a modern bronze league. This time I pick a sample of attacking opponent, with magic. They uses Moxian Rebel and with the help of Obsidian +1 magic, they make a dangerous trio magic attack with a small mana needed.

It starts by an ambush from my side. too bad it's not my BARON FYATT's ambush because I do not have his full level card. But look at my opponent fire power there, they have a combined 12 magic damage per round.

Goblin Psychic gets cursed by halving ability on the first round

On the second round, Moxian Rebel gets hit by Baron Fyatt and he dies instantly

Everything seems to be settled on the round 3, although battle ends on the 4th rounds.

What We see From These Trials

1. Baron Fyatt is Cool, even his numbers are bad, in real battle he is quite useful not as bad as we think.
2. He is not a card that super powerful that could carry the whole team... However he is definitely disruptive, making opponents meta messed up.
3. Although people dislike him for being a mage and there is no magic buff summoner on Fire and Death element, I think he is still very useful as an element of surprise in our line up. None expects we bring a mages on Fire Element.
4. I do not know how he will perform on his max level, but overall I would say he is cool, strong however not something that EXTRAORDINARY. However I believe during certain ruleset, he will be a great force.
