Legendary Gladius Case

Brawls are the cornerstone of being in a guild. They pit guilds against each other in a series of battle frays. These battles are unlike any other you'll find in Splinterlands due to the presence of Gladiators in these arenas. Gladiators are powerful warriors with a unique skill set and one powerful skill, bloodlust, which makes them stronger with each kill. These brawls are not for the faint of heart and to the victor go the spoils!

Gladiator cards will turn the tide of battle in a brawl, but how does one aquire such powerful cards?
Let me introduce the Gladius Case:

In each Gladius Case there are 5 gladiator cards ranging from common, rare, epic, and legendary.
The epic and legendary cards being particularly sought after because they are the most powerful cards in all of Splinterlands.

How does one pay for Gladius Cases? They require a specific currency call Merits which can only be won through hard fought brawls or purchased using glint in the rewards shop.

Having saved up some merits, I topped off at the shop to purchase three Gladius Cases.

The first proved to be mediocre with 4 commons and a rare:

The second only proved slightly better with 3 commons and a rare:

The third and final case proved worthy of my pursuit of gladiators providing 2 commons, 1 rare, 1 epic, and 1 legendary. A bit of a jackpot!
