# DuceCrypto's S132 - Splinter Stats Ranked Rewards Season 45 Report Card
@ducecrypto
The first season with end-of-season glint rewards was a bit rocky for me as I wasn't sure exactly what approach to take for ranked play. I manually played the majority of my battles in Modern, while letting the bot take over for me in Wild when I didn't have enough time to get the ranked battles in myself. I had another season with middling tournament success and continued to struggle to submit battles for all of the tournament events I entered. Well, enough of the intro, let's away to the results!
Match Report
Performance
Stat | #Wild | #Modern |
---|---|---|
Rank | Champion #126 | Champion #114 |
Rating | 4300 - Champion I | 3760 - Champion III |
Rating High | 4300 | 4020 |
Ratio (Win/Loss) | 1.79 (52/29) | 1.06 (159/150) |
Longest Streak | 5 | 6 |
The Xbot clearly outperformed me this season, racking up a 64% win rate over 81 battles in Wild and advancing to Champion 1 without too much hassle. On the other hand, I barely exceeded a 50% win rate with 159 wins in 309 battles. I eventually got stuck in the middle of Champion 3 before I had to give up my quest to regain the Champion 2 rating I briefly held during the season at a 4020 rating.
Regardless of win rates, I am really enjoying the ever-changing modern format recently with the addition of the Rebellion airdrop legendaries mixing up the metagame every few seasons. While others may chase ROI and maximize their returns, I'm still here for the love of the game, because of its strategy and competition, so I will play as many battles as my time (and energy) allows.

Last season I definitely entered more than three events and certainly cashed out more than 230 SPS. I'm not sure why Splinterlands Report Card is only showing these three events, but after adding up the currency activity for tournament payouts I earned more than 5593 SPS over S132 events. In total, I won an SPS payout in 12 different events!
Rewards Report
Earnt Tokens (Ranked Rewards)
Ranked Play Wins | Tokens Received |
---|---|
211 | ✨ 306791 Glint + ⭐5138.245 SPS |
Glint season rewards will show in the season they are claimed.
Well looky here! Over 300K Glint was earned last season from ranked play comprising 159 wins in Modern and 52 wins in Wild. My strategy with Glint was to buy the first 3 batches of all Soulbound Reward Card levels and the first 4 batches of merits for more Gladiator cards.
I'm still looking for specific Gold Foil Legendaries and Epics to complete my SBRC Gold Foil set. I will try to open the GF cards myself before looking into unlocking fees and potential trades with other community members. But if any of you reading this have some extra GFL and GFE SBRCs, shoot me a comment or Discord DM and let me know what you're looking to trade for once we can unlock the cards!
⭐ SPS Report
Type | ⭐ Amount |
---|---|
Staking Rewards | 788.968 |
Ranked Rewards as above | 5138.245 |
Brawl Rewards | 1397.650 |
Land Rewards | 189.489 |
License Stake Rewards | 440.782 |
NET SPS | 7955.134 |
SPS returns still look strong even if the asset price is down as people take some skin out of the game. I earned a whopping 5138 SPS just from my 211 ranked play wins. Two brawl cycles added nearly another 1400 SPS to my earnings, a testament to the rewards received for playing the game at the highest level -- Tier 5 Brawls!
When I add my SPS winnings from tournaments, it bumps my seasonal SPS earnings to 13548 SPS! Using the spot SPS price from April 30 at USD 0.013, I've earned over $176 over value in SPS. Of course, I'm also earning valuable Glint to buy more soulbound cards in the form of Chaos Legion rewards and Gladiator cards that I can use to increase the strength of my deck.
It is still a bit early to judge the success of the change to Glint rewards. I miss opening the daily focus rewards chests, but I sure don't miss the thousands of potions I've opened over the years. It is nice to focus my rewards strictly on the rewards I want while ignoring the rewards that I don't. We'll see what happens with the new store changes after downtime and the addition of guaranteed rarities. See you next season!
Until then, may all your cards turn gold!
