Feliz año para todos, hoy participo en Splinterlands Art Contest Week 274 presentando una obra inspirada en el personaje Time Mage que espero les guste.
Es mi primer diseño del año, hace mucho que no participo en estos concursos que me gustan tanto, sin embargo me he deleitado con las obras de arte de mis compañeros dibujantes, me ha faltado un poco la musa para poder recrearlos, hoy quise practicar por medio de este personaje.
Me encanta jugar con magos, brujos, hechiceros y personajes que tengan estos tipos de habilidades fusionadas con otras más potentes. Acerca de Time Mage, es una de mis cartas pertenece a la colección Chaos y la carta que tengo es una rare. Se dice que tiene la habilidad de controlar el tiempo haciéndolo lento para cuando nos atacan y rápido para debilitar las armaduras de los oponentes. Será interesante armar una estrategia con ella, a ver si podemos ganar la partida.
Elegí este personaje porque me llamó la atención sus ojos, quise recrearlos a mi estilo, cuando terminé el diseño, pude apreciar eso, le faltaba mi estilo precisamente, por lo cual, después de haber terminado edité muchas cosas hasta sentir que estaba más aceptable y lo más parecido a mí forma de dibujar.
No solo me cautivaron los ojos del personaje sino también el báculo con el reloj, que fue lo que más me gustó dibujar.

Happy New Year to everyone, today I participate in Splinterlands Art Contest Week 274 presenting a work inspired by the character Time Mage that I hope you like.
It's my first design of the year, it's been a long time since I participated in these contests that I like so much, however I have been delighted with the artwork of my fellow artists, I have lacked a little muse to be able to recreate them, today I wanted to practice through this character.
I love playing with mages, wizards, sorcerers, warlocks and characters that have these types of abilities fused with other more powerful ones. About Time Mage, he is one of my cards belongs to the Chaos collection and the card I have is a rare. It is said to have the ability to control time making it slow for when we are attacked and fast to weaken the armor of opponents. It will be interesting to put together a strategy with her, to see if we can win the game.
I chose this character because his eyes caught my attention, I wanted to recreate them in my style, when I finished the design, I could appreciate that, it lacked my style precisely, so, after finishing I edited many things until I felt that it was more acceptable and the most similar to my way of drawing.
Not only the eyes of the character captivated me, but also the staff with the clock, which was what I liked the most to draw.

Durante el boceto, había dibujado al personaje en otra pose, pero estaba desproporcionado, así que decidí colocarla con los brazos cruzados riéndose de su contrincante.
Dado a la cantidad de detalles que tiene el diseño, muchas veces las líneas del boceto molestaban por lo cual tenía que quitarla y volverla a colocar. Con tantas rayas no sabía ni lo que estaba haciendo, perdía la idea.
Tal parece que aquí el tiempo es oro.
Aplico el color base y ya voy pensando en cómo haré el fondo. varios pinceles de Medibang me ayudaron con esos toques extra muy bonitos. El fondo aunque me pareció sobrecargado, me ha gustado pues por primera vez logré esos humos en espiral y fue realmente complicado.

During the sketch, I had drawn the character in another pose, but it was disproportionate, so I decided to place her with her arms crossed laughing at her opponent.
Due to the amount of details in the design, many times the lines of the sketch bothered me, so I had to remove and replace it. With so many lines I didn't even know what I was doing, I lost the idea.
It seems that here time is money.
I apply the base color and I'm already thinking about how I will do the background. Several Medibang brushes helped me with those extra nice touches. The background, although it seemed overloaded, I liked it because for the first time I achieved those spiral smokes and it was really complicated.

Tuve indecisión por dónde comenzar la aplicación de los detalles, entonces decidí aplicar el sombreado y luz en aerografía a todo lo que tiene color oro.
Luego de culminar el paso anterior, viendo la imagen de referencia tenía un error en el color de las manos, corregí entonces el color colocando los guantes y de una vez apliqué el sombreado y luz junto con la capa.
Lo siguiente fue trabajar más en los pequeños detalles como en el reloj que está sobre la diadema que el mismo fue copiado y pegado en el broche del vestido y luego apliqué los detalles del báculo, otro detalle que vi le faltaba y agregué es una especie de tela en pliegues por debajo de los brazaletes.

I was undecided where to start applying the details, so I decided to apply the shading and light in airbrush to everything that has gold color.
After finishing the previous step, looking at the reference image I had an error in the color of the hands, so I corrected the color by placing the gloves and applied the shading and light together with the layer.
The next step was to work more on the small details like the clock that is on the headband that was copied and pasted on the brooch of the dress and then I applied the details of the staff, another detail that I saw was missing and added is a kind of fabric in folds below the bracelets.

El sombreado del vestido fue un problema muy serio, lo hice y borré muchas veces, pues no quedaba muy bien con el peto.
Los detalles en el cabello fueron un toque muy sencillo y plano de hacer, por mucho que hubiera querido mostrarán movimiento y soltura, aun me falta mucho por perfeccionar.
Me preparo para aplicar el sombreado de piel por lo que este paso es para la aplicación de los detalles en ojos, cejas y labios todo en aerografía.
Finalizo con el sombreado de piel y agradecí que el personaje tuviera guantes, hubiera sido de mucha dificultad sombrear los dedos con el color piel.

The shading of the dress was a very serious problem, I did it and erased it many times, because it didn't look very good with the dungarees.
The details in the hair were a very simple and flat touch to do, as much as I would have liked to show movement and ease, I still have a long way to go to perfect it.
I prepare to apply the skin shading so this step is for the application of the details in eyes, eyebrows and lips all in airbrush.
I finish with the skin shading and I was thankful that the character had gloves, it would have been very difficult to shade the fingers with the skin color.

Pienso que es algo similar este juego ahora, una fusión, me divertía jugándolo es verdad, pero mi tiempo ahora es tan limitado que por ahora se me es imposible jugarlo.
Hay que armar buenas cartas, buenas estrategias y pensar como cuando jugamos ajedrez, creo que es casi lo mismo.
Tengo años en esto de dibujar con este programa, aun soy aprendiz pero si he mejorado una barbaridad en comparación con mis diseños antiguos.

El mago del tiempo, es un personaje muy poderoso en muchas historias. Hay versiones femeninas y masculinas, todas son oponentes formidables.
En Black Clover es el rey de los magos, En el rey de la pelea tenemos Oroshi de la tradicion japonesa y tenemos Oroburus de la tradición nórdica (vikingos).
En novelas web y mangas se consigue magos del tiempo con cierta frecuencia y hacen un excelente papel.
Es un diseño muy bonito, felicitaciones.
Curiosamente mi querido... Mientras la dibujaba me decía, ojala pudiera usarla la carta del tiempo en la vida real, manipularlo, regresar al pasado y corregir algunos errores...

Me gustan los magos y hechiceros, pero son peligrosos, jajaja
Creo que tambien en los animes antiguos de los Xmen, habia un personaje que manipulaba o controlaba el tiempo.

En la novela clásica de la máquina del tiempo, cada vez que se regresaba y tratabas de cambiar los sucesos, ocurrían luego cada vez peor, no lo parece algunas veces, pero lo que pasa no siempre es la peor situación, por mala que parezca.
También es interesante la postura teórica de los universos paralelos en los que nuestros dobles tomaron decisiones diferentes y sus vidas fueron por otros caminos.
Es tema de historias asombrosas, tanto del mundo real como del mundo literario.
