Splinterlands Art Contest / Digital Drawing of Vampire

Hello friends,
it is a wonderful cloudy day out here i hope you all are having a wonderful time. So with the little break of work i decided to join the splinterlands art contest having missed last weeks edition due to some challenges im facing at school. In the spirit of Halloween I would be entering this contest with a digital drawing of the splinterlands character named Vampire. Its a very dangerous being ,i decided to make my own representation of the Vampire character. I've always fantasized aboutbeing a vampire when i was much younger like how it would turn out , I love the fact that they heal fast and they possess super human strength and speed and in most cases night vision and heightened senses. We would never know all there abilities because each vampire movies comes up with there own theory of vampires. The reference of the image can be seen below.

I started with a rough sketch which was the main creation of the new character i intend on creating the sketches and out lines are very important because they give us a shape or look of how the drawing should look. So a bad sketch means a bad image. After which i started adding the base colours as seen bellow, then i began to work on the depth before adding anything. When done with the face i went for the hair which took some time to finish but it was nice doing it.

Slowly i moved on to the body which i must say wss a little bit tricky so i had to run over it more then once to bring out the shapes while adding the depths. The final touch was the background which came out strong. Exploring these characters has really taught me alot about these various character.
