Splinterlands - Flummis Splinterlands update after a longer time [ENG/DE]

I haven't written a blog post about Splinterlands for a while, even though there is a lot going on around the game at the moment. For example, the prices of almost all assets have fallen sharply and there is talk of Splinterlands leaving the Hive Blockchain. But that's not what I want to talk about today, instead I'd like to give you a brief summary of what's been happening with me.

ich habe schon länger keinen Blogbeitrag über Splinterlands verfasst und das obwohl aktuell sehr viel um das Spiel herum passiert. So sind zum Beispiel die Preise eigentlich sämtlicher Assets stark gefallen und es wird darüber nachgedacht, ob Splinterlands die Hive Blockchain verlässt. Darüber soll es heute aber nicht gehen, sondern ich möchte euch einen kurzen Abriss geben, was bei mir so passiert ist.

Ich bin aktuell immer noch dabei meine Glints für "Legendary Drops" zu verwenden, da mir als einzige legendäre Karte noch Aves Sturgis fehlt. Da diese Karte meiner Meinung nach recht stark ist, hätte ich sie gerne in meiner Sammlung, allerdings hatte ich hier bisher kein Glück. Immerhin könnte ich durch die "Legedary Drops" schon einige legendäre Karten auf Level 2 upgraden.
I'm still in the process of using my Glints for Legendary Drops, as the only legendary card I'm missing is Aves Sturgis. Since this card is quite strong in my opinion, I would like to have it in my collection, but I haven't had any luck so far. After all, I could already upgrade some legendary cards to level 2 with the “Legedary Drops”.
Etwas mehr Glück hatte ich hingegen bei meinen "Gladius Packs", sodass ich einige Karten verbessern konnte. Zum einen habe ich zwei Quora Towershead gezogen, sodass ich sie auf Level 2 verbessern konnte. Ich nehme an jeder weiß, wie unfassbar stark diese Karte ist. Daher war ich sehr glücklich sie verbessern zu können, auch wenn mir das nur einen Lebenspunkt mehr beschert.
I had a bit more luck with my “Gladius Packs”, however, so I was able to upgrade some cards. For one, I drew two Quora Towershead so I could upgrade it to level 2. I assume everyone knows how incredibly strong this card is. So I was very happy to be able to upgrade it, even if it only gives me one more life point.
Außerdem verbessern konnte ich Helmet Kharafax, und zwar auf Level 5. Auch hier beschert mir das Upgrade einen Lebenspunkt mehr. Die Karte kann meiner Meinung nach recht nützlich sein, allerdings nur in Kombination mit einer Karte mit der Fähigkeit "Weapons Training". Hier würde mir, wie zu Beginn angesprochen, zum Beispiel Aves Sturgis extrem weiter helfen.
I was also able to upgrade Helmet Kharafax to level 5, which also gives me one more health point. In my opinion, the card can be quite useful, but only in combination with a card with the “Weapons Training” ability. As mentioned at the beginning, Aves Sturgis, for example, would be extremely helpful here.
Auf Level 4 konnte ich Kotriphus Bayne verbessern, dadurch erhielt er einen Geschwindigkeitspunkt mehr. Ehrlich gesagt ist das eine Karte bei der ich nicht so recht weiß wie bzw. wann ich sie nutzen soll und dementsprechend spiele ich sie sehr selten. Das Upgrade nehme ich natürlich trotzdem gerne mit.
I was able to upgrade Kotriphus Bayne to level 4, which gave him one more speed point. To be honest, this is a card that I don't really know how or when to use, so I rarely play it. Nevertheless, I'm happy to take the upgrade.
Und dann konnte ich noch Chimney Wallstop auf Level 5 verbessern. Ein wichtiges Upgrade, da er zwar einen Lebenspunkt verliert, aber dafür die Fähigkeit "Repair" erhält. Das macht die Karten noch mal nützlicher und ist meiner Meinung nach eine starke Verbesserung.
And then I was able to upgrade Chimney Wallstop to level 5. An important upgrade, as it loses a health point but gains the “Repair” ability. This makes the cards even more useful and is a big improvement in my opinion.
Und zu guter Letzt wurde, nach langer Wartezeit, das neue Spiel "Soulkeep" veröffentlicht und damit konnten zum ersten Mal die Nightmare Packs geöffnet werden. Ich hatte mir damals zwei Nightmare-Packs zugelegt und hier könnt ihr sehen, was ich so erhalten habe. Ich muss ehrlich sagen ich habe das Spiel kurz versucht, es hat mich aber überhaupt nicht gecatcht. Ich habe zwar von einigen Leuten gehört, dass zumindest die Rewards ganz nett sein sollen, trotzdem werde ich meine Assets vermutlich verkaufen. Ich kann auch gar nicht sagen, ob diese Karten, die ich erhalten habe, gut bzw. wertvoll sind, da ich mich gar nicht damit auseinandergesetzt habe.
And last but not least, after a long wait, the new game “Soulkeep” was released and the Nightmare Packs could be opened for the first time. I bought two Nightmare Packs back then and here you can see what I got. I have to be honest, I tried the game briefly, but I wasn't hooked at all. I have heard from some people that at least the rewards are quite nice, but I will probably sell my assets. I can't even say whether the cards I've received are good or valuable, as I haven't even looked into them.
Das soll es für dieses Update dann auch schon gewesen sein. Ansonsten gibt es nur noch zu sagen, dass aktuell sehr viel über einen Bot in Wild gespielt wird und ich deshalb bisher jede Season den "Wild Pass" gekauft habe. Wenn ich Zeit habe, werden zwischendrin auch einige Spiele in Modern selbst gespielt. Und natürlich bin ich auch bei den Brawls meiner Gilde "Landstreicher" aktiv dabei und wir arbeiten uns weiter voran, um den Aufstieg in Tier 5 machen zu können. Karten kaufe ich aktuell eher weniger, da einfach wenig Kapital verfügbar ist. Wenn ich dann aber mal Karten kaufe, sind es fast ausschließlich Karten der "Rebellion" Erweiterung, da ich sie für recht günstig halte und auf mittelfristiger Sicht weiterhin das Modern Format spielen möchte.
Dann möchte ich noch ich noch ein paar Worte zur Zukunft von Splinterlands verlieren. Wie zu Beginn angesprochen tut sich gerade einiges und es ist eine recht unruhige Zeit. Ich weiß nicht so recht, was ich davon halten soll, dass Splinterlands eventuell die Hive-Blockchain verlassen wird. Auch der Preisverfall gibt mir etwas zu denken. Ich werde meine Assets zwar nicht verkaufen, jedoch war meine Motivation zu spielen bzw. Blogbeiträge wie diesen zu schreiben schon ein mal höher. Ich werde erstmal dabei bleiben und abwarten wie es sich entwickelt und hoffe natürlich das Beste.

That should be it for this update. Apart from that, I can only say that I'm currently playing a lot via a bot in Wild, which is why I've bought the “Wild Pass” for every season so far. When I have time, I also play a few games in Modern myself in between. And of course I'm also actively involved in the brawls of my guild “Landstreicher” and we're working our way forward to be able to make it to Tier 5. I don't buy many cards at the moment because I simply don't have much capital available. But when I do buy cards, it's almost exclusively cards from the “Rebellion” expansion, as I think they're quite cheap and I want to continue playing the Modern format in the medium term.
Then I would like to say a few words about the future of Splinterlands. As I mentioned at the beginning, a lot is happening at the moment and it's a very turbulent time. I don't really know what to make of the fact that Splinterlands might be leaving the Hive blockchain. The price drop also gives me pause for thought. I'm not going to sell my assets, but my motivation to play and write blog posts like this one has been higher at times. I'll stick with it for now and wait and see how things develop and hope for the best, of course.
