Splinterlands - Two legendary cards out of three Gladius Packs [ENG/DE]

It's been a while, but I'd still like to show you my two latest achievements when I opened three Gladius Packs. I've been rather unlucky with Gladius Packs in the past. So far I've only had one legendary Gladius card, Tatiana Blayde, even though I've been playing Brawls for about two years. This time luck was on my side, but see for yourself:

When I opened the three packs and saw the yellow shimmer on the second card, I was very happy. But when it was another Tatiana Blayde, my joy was rather limited again, as it's the only legendary card I already have. However, as we all know, the best is saved for last, because there was a second legendary card and that was Fina Voxom. Two legendary cards out of three Gladius packs is pretty lucky, but after my long dry spell before, I've earned it. Let's take a closer look at the two cards.

Having owned Tatiana Blayde for a while now, I can say that the card is really good and an absolute must-have in the right rulesets. Especially in rulesets where Tatiana Blayde can also attack from the second row with her Melee Attack, she performs very well. She is also a neutral card and can therefore be used frequently. The combination of Ranged and Melee Attack makes the card unique, because both attacks get +1 if it defeats an opponent's card. I'm already looking forward to getting a third Tatiana Blayde, because at level 2 she gets the "Dodge" ability. In combination with her high speed value, this could lead to a miss or two.

With Fina Voxom I received one of my absolute favorite cards. I'm a big fan of the Fire Splinter and Fina Voxom epitomizes that in my opinion, both from the artwork and the way the card is played. She can take out opposing cards very quickly with the "Opportunity" ability and then boosts her stats with the "Bloodlust" ability. The relatively good speed value also helps. I would also like to upgrade Fina Voxom to the next level one day, as she gets +1 Melee Attack and the "Pierce" ability.

This is the current status of my Gladius cards. You can access this overview for every account on Splintercards. It's a very long way to collect and level up the Gladius cards, but I'm sticking with it and I'm just a big fan of the Gladius cards. I also think that at some point a new set for the Merits will be introduced and you won't be able to buy Gladius packs anymore. That's why I want to collect as many Gladius cards as possible as early as possible. By the way, since then I've drawn two more legendary cards from the Gladius Packs, another Fina Voxom and an Xulax Nightwind. So my newly acquired luck with the Gladius Packs has continued so far.

While writing this blog post, I noticed that you can now share the pack openings and I call it "relive" them, even from other players. So if you want to see the pack opening again, just click here. It's a nice feature, but I doubt it will be used that much and I think I could do without it.

Hallo zusammen,

es ist zwar schon eine Weile her, trotzdem möchte ich meine beiden jüngsten Errungenschaften zeigen, als ich drei Gladius Packs geöffnet habe. Ich hatte in der Vergangenheit eher Pech was die Gladius Packs angeht. Bisher hatte ich mit Tatiana Blayde nur eine legendäre Gladius Karte, obwohl ich schon seit ca. zwei Jahren Brawls spiele. Dieses Mal war das Glück auf meiner Seite, aber seht selbst:

Als ich die drei Packs öffnete und den gelben Schimmer an der zweiten Karten gesehen habe, war ich schon sehr happy. Als es dann aber wieder eine Tatiana Blayde war, hielt sich meine Freude eher wieder in Grenzen, da es ja die einzige legendäre Karte ist, die ich bereits besitzt habe. Jedoch kommt das beste bekanntlich zum Schluss, denn dort war eine zweite legendäre Karte und das war Fina Voxom. Zwei legendäre Karten aus drei Gladius Packs sind schon ziemlich lucky, aber nach meiner langen Durststrecke zuvor habe ich mir das dann verdient. Schauen wir uns die beiden Karten etwas näher an.

Da ich Tatiana Blayde schon etwas länger besitze kann ich sagen, dass die Karte wirklich gut ist und in den richtigen Rulesets ein absolutes Muss in der eigenen Aufstellungist . Vor allem in Rulesets, bei denen Tatiana Blayde auch aus der zweiten Reihe mit ihrem Melee Attack angreifen kann, performt sie sehr stark. Außerdem ist sie eine neutrale Karte und kann dementsprechend häufig benutzt werden. Die Kombination aus Ranged und Melee Attack macht die Karte einzigartig, denn beide Angriffe erhalten +1, sollte sie eine gegnerische Karte besiegen. Ich freu mich schon, sobald ich eine dritte Tatiana Blayde erhalte, denn auf Level 2 erhält sie noch die Fähigkeit "Dodge". Im Zusammenspiel mit ihrem hohen Speed Wert kann hier der ein oder andere Miss zustande kommen.

Mit Fina Voxom habe ich eine meiner absoluten Lieblingskarten erhalten. Ich bin ein großer Fan des Feuer Splinters und Fina Voxom verkörpert das meiner Meinung nach sowohl vom Artwork als auch von der Art wie die Karte gespielt wird. Durch die Fähigkeit "Opportunity" kann sie sehr schnell gegnerische Karten ausschalten und boostet dann ihre Stats durch die Fähigkeit "Bloodlust". Dabei hilft ihr auch der relativ gute Speed Wert. Auch Fina Voxom würde ich eines Tages gerne auf das nächste Level verbessern, da sie dort +1 Melee Attack und die Fähigkeit "Pierce" erhält.

So ist jetzt der Stand bei mir, was die Gladius Karten betrifft. Diese Übersicht könnt ihr übrigens für jeden Account auf Splintercards abrufen. Es ist ein sehr langer Weg die Gladius Karten zu sammeln und aufzuleveln, aber ich bleibe dabei und bin einfach ein großer Fan der Gladius Karten. Außerdem denke ich, dass irgendwann ein neues Set für die Merits eingeführt wird und man dann keine Gladius Packs mehr kaufen kann. Deshalb möchte ich so früh wie möglich und so viele wie möglich der Gladius Karten sammeln. Übrigens habe ich seitdem nochmal zwei legendäre Karten aus den Gladius Packs gezogen, das war nochmal eine Fina Voxom und ein Xulax Nightwind. Mein neu erlangtes Glück bei den Gladius Packs hat also bisher weiter angehalten.

Beim Schreiben dieses Blogbeitrags habe ich bemerkt, dass man inzwischen die Pack Openings teilen kann und ich nenne es mal "noch mal erleben" kann, auch von anderen Spielern. Wenn ihr also das Pack Opening noch mal sehen wollt, klickt einfach hier. Ein nettes Feature, aber ich bezweifle, dass es so viel genutzt wird und ich könnte glaube ich auch darauf verzichten.
