Battles Of The Day: Spirit Shaman
I just finished the Splinterlands season and luckily I was able to reach my goal, which was to reach GOLD 1, for a couple of days I thought I was going to get there, since I was stuck in GOLD 3 for several days, it was impossible to climb, I played badly and lost a lot, but just 4 days before the end of the season, I was finally able to reach my goal, besides accumulating the 50 chests that usually, always in the maximum amount I manage to collect by the end of the season. The end of season rewards were not great, but at least I got a legendary card, which is a big improvement compared to past end of seasons. Djinn Biljka, was the card I got, it's not my favorite card and I would have preferred to have Chaos packs, but it's not too bad either. But anyway, leave that topic aside, I have to talk about a card that in this season I have used a lot. Spirit Shaman is a magic attack card from the EARTH deck, which has one of my favorite abilities along with "Sneak"; that ability is "Stun", which is an ability that is incredible the amount of times it can help you win a game, even when you least expect it and need it most, with just that ability it is possible to win a very difficult to win battles, that's why the best battles today are with: Spirit Shaman.
In this first battle I used a formation which I choose in almost 100% of the times I have to play with the Earth deck and also, I have little amount of mana available. Being this formation also the chosen one, as long as I use the Obsidian summoner to boost the cards with magic attack. Since in first position I would place: Failed Summoner, since having the ability "Magic Reflect" would be very useful in case my opponent used any magic attack card, but is that in addition to that, being a card with little mana cost (only 2 points) and a very good amount of life points for the few mana points it costs, it is an excellent card to place it in first position and current as the "tank" card of the team. In second position I placed one of the most classic and oldest cards of all Splinterlands: Furious Chicken, I placed it in this position because I thought that if I were to eliminate Failed Summoner at some point, Furious Chicken was going to serve me to receive extra damage without the offensive cards, which are in the following positions, are really affected. It can be said that it is the card that serves as a "Substitute" (an ability used in Pokemon games).
In the next and last three positions I placed the offensive cards, the cards that were going to benefit from Obsidian's ability, those cards are: Khmer Princess, a card with very few life points, but one of those cards that if not removed in time can be quite dangerous. In fourth position I place the main card of today: Spirit Shaman, an excellent card of magical attack which with its ability "Stun", makes it a very effective card to keep at bay the cards of my opponent, but also has the ability "Divine Shield", so it allows you to receive a first attack without causing any damage. And in last position, one of the most elusive cards thanks to its ability "Camouflage" and although it has very few life points, that ability makes up for it, that card is: Djinn Biljka.
In this second battle I again used the Obsidian summoner, since in this battle I almost entirely used cards with magic attack, the only exception being the card in first position, the strategy was as follows: In first position I placed a very powerful Neutral card, which has an ability that will be very useful against many of the cards of the new edition "Giant Killer" and that card is: Legionnaire Alvar, a card that offensively is very effective and in defensive terms also is, because although it does not have a very excessive amount of life points, only 6 points, it compensates with its amount of shield points (8 points), but also has the ability "Void Armor", which makes it a resistant card against magical attacks. In the next 5 positions the strategy is made up only with magic attack cards, as I mentioned before, being in second position Prismatic Energy, a card with excellent life points and at the same time a very resistant card. In third position I placed: Goblin Psychic, a card with the ability "Tank Heal" and being this the only card that survived this battle, really something surprising, since by how this battle was going to go I thought I was going to lose, but surprisingly Goblin Psychic was the only surviving card.
In fourth position I placed one of my favorite cards of my collection: Spirit Miner, a card that I use a lot, but recently I have been thinking about trying to sell it, because with its value I could improve my deck and thus reach better positions, this is something that I must plan it well. But anyway, in penultimate position I placed the main card of today: Spirit Shaman, which thanks to its ability "Stun" was a great help for me not to lose this battle. And in last position I placed a card with the ability "Return Fire", but which also has a very important amount of life points, being in turn a card that manages to resist many enemy attacks, that card is: Centauri Mage.
