Greetings fellow art, splinterlands and NFT lovers. Relatively recently I shared with you a bust sculpture inspired by splinterlands. This time I would like to share another bust sculpture inspired by one of the characters of this game, called Barashkukor.

Saludos amigos amantes del arte, splinterlands y los NFT. Hace relativamente poco compartí con ustedes una escultura de un busto inspirado en splinterlands. En esta ocasión me gustarí compartir otra escultura de un busto inspirada en uno de los persoajes de este juego, llamado Barashkukor.

Step by step

To make this sculpture I cut a piece of cardboard and placed a piece of wire that would serve as a support. Since it is a bust, I wouldn't need anything else except a single support like the one you see in the image, as this will make the whole figure stand upright.

Para hacer esta escultura corté un trozo de cartulina y le coloqué un trozo de alambre que serviría de soporte. Al ser un busto, no necesitaría nada mas salvo un único soporte como el que ven en la imagen, pues esto hará que la figura completa se mantenga erguida.

Once the body of the sculpture and the base that would support it were defined, I began to cover it with the plasticine. The first thing I did was to place a mass of plasticine on the lower part, so that it would cover a part of the base that did not look good.

Then I placed the torso with a shape similar to that of an inverted pear. This same inverted pear I began to mold it with all the musculature that the character has.

Una vez definido cómo sería el cuerpo de la escultura y la propia base que la sostendría, comencé a cubrirla con la plastilina. Lo primero que hice fue colocarle una masa de plastilina en la parte inferior, para que cubriera una parte de la base que no se veía bien.

Luego coloque el torso con una forma similar a la de una pera invertida. Esta misma pera invertida comencé a moldearla con toda la musculatura que tiene el personaje.

I continued molding shoulders and neck. This creature has a prominent and oversized neck, which we could almost say is half the size of the torso itself. The shoulders are also huge and have spikes on each side.

I didn't make arms because, as I said, it's a bust only, however, I tried to give as much detail to all the muscles he has. After that I painted it in black, purple and white shades.

Continué moldeando hombros y cuello. Esta criatura tiene un cuello prominente y de gran tamaño, que casi podríamos decir que es de la mitad del propio torso. Los hombros también son enormes y tienen púas a cada lado.

No le hice brazos porque, como dije, es un busto solamente, sin embargo, traté de dar la mayor cantidad de detalles a todos los músculos que tiene. Después de esto lo pinté de tonalidades negras, moradas y blancas.

After working on the torso, I started working on the head, the most difficult part of the sculpture. First I made the horns on the back, then I molded the head itself.

Then I started to work on the face, the eyes and finally the huge horns in the eye area. Once I finished molding them I also added color, painting it with the same tones as the rest of the body.

Después de trabajar en el torso, comencé a trabajar en la cabeza, la parte más difícil de la escultura. Primero le hice los cuernos que tiene en la parte trasera, luego le moldeé la propia cabeza en si.

Seguidamente comencé a trabajar en el rostro, en los ojos y por último en unos cuernos enormes que tiene en el área de los ojos. Una vez terminé de moldearlos también le agregué color, pintándola con las mismas tonalidades del resto del cuerpo.

Look at the image below, here you can take a closer look at all the details I added with paint to both the face and the body. You can also see how I molded several tentacles, very characteristic of the character. Although a detail that does not escape are the eyes, green, tiny and that stand out a lot.

Fíjense en la imagen de abajo, aquí pueden dar un vistazo más cercano a todos los detalles que le agregué con la pintura tanto al rostro como al cuerpo. También pueden ver cómo le moldeé varios tentáculos, muy característicos del personaje. Aunque un detalle que no escapa son los ojos, verdes, diminutos y que resaltan mucho.

Finally, I added a kind of rhombus-shaped stone that adorns the entire chest of the figure. This way it was completely finished.

Ya para finalizar le agregué una suerte de piedra con forma de rombo que adorna el pecho completo de la figura. De esta manera quedó completamente terminada.
