Greetings NFT and splinterlands lovers. As you well know, I am a sculptor so I use to make a lot of figures in different moldable materials. Thinking a bit about splinterlands, I wanted to make a full body figure, since I had some time without making a sculpture of this style.

The figure I made is inspired by the Swamp Spitter, one of the splinterlands cards. Below you can see a picture of the character and the card.

Saludos amigos amantes de los NFT y de splinterlands. Como bien saben, soy un escultor así que acostumbro a hacer muchas figuras en diversos materiales moldeables. Pensando un poco en splinterlands, quise hacer una figura de cuerpo completo, ya que tenía tiempo sin hacer una escultura de este estilo.

La figura que hice está inspirada en el Swamp Spitter, una de las cartas de splinterlands. A continuación pueden ver una foto del personaje y de la carta.

Step by step:

As I always do with my figures, I will show you briefly how I made this figurine, as I believe that the step by step always enriches the way in which a finished figure is shown. Especially in this case, being that the figure is pretty cool.

As you can see, it is a full body figure, so to make this kind of figures it is necessary to make a base. I started with the feet, or at least with the base for the feet, which is the orange piece of plasticine, then I placed the green feet on top of this orange base.

Paso a paso:

Como siempre acostumbro en mis figuras, les mostraré de manera breve cómo hice esta figurita, pues creo que el paso a paso siempre enriquece la manera en cómo se muestra una figura ya terminada. Sobre todo en este caso, siendo que la figura es bastante genial.

Tal como pueden ver, es una figura de cuerpo completo, así que para hacer este tipo de figuras es necesario hacerle una base. Comencé con los pies, o al menos con la base para los pies, que es el trozo naranja de plastilina, luego le coloqué los pies de color verde encima de esta base naranja.

After making the feet, I continued with the calves and thighs. On the lower legs I made them in dark green and the legs I made them in the common color of the body.

Después de hacer los pies, continué con las pantorrillas y muslos. En la parte baja de las piernas las hice de color verde oscuro y las piernas las hice del color común que lleva el cuerpo.

I continued with the torso, making it quite large and shaped, then I continued with the arms, making them as defined as I could, despite the tiny size of the figure. She is small, so it was hard, but I made them well defined because the character is like that.

Continué con el torso, haciéndolo bastante grande y formado, luego continué con los brazos, haciéndolos de la manera más definida que pude, a pesar del diminuto tamaño de la figura. Es pequeña, así que me costó, pero los hice bien definidos pues el personaje es así.

I made both the left and the right arm, and after finishing them I started to mold the neck and finally the face. To make this character's head I was inspired by the famous ninja turtles, because I thought it was a good way to represent this character in 3D.

Hice tanto el brazo izquierdo como el derecho, luego de terminarlos comencé a moldear el cuello y finalmente el rostro. Para hacer esta cabeza del personaje me inspiré en las famosísimas tortugas ninjas, pues me pareció una buena manera de representar a este personaje en 3D.

As for the chest, I didn't make it so defined because I had the chest plates that these turtles usually have. I also made the garment he wears at the waist, the brown forearm protectors and as I said, the chest plates.

En cuanto al pecho no lo hice tan definido pues tenía las placas del pecho que suelen tener estas tortugas. También le hice la prenda que usa en la cintura, los protectores de los antebrazos de color marrón y como dije, las placas protectoras del pecho.

As for accessories, I made the small hat and the shell that the character has on his back. Both are pieces that make him characteristic as an anthropomorphic turtle.

En cuanto a accesorios, le hice el pequeño sombrero y el caparazón que tiene en la espalda el personaje. Ambos son piezas que lo vuelven característico como tortuga antropomórfica.

I put each piece in place and it already looked just great, but to give it a better look, I started coloring it to make it look much better. I used the dry painting technique for some things and thinned paint for other parts of the body.

Coloqué cada pieza en su lugar y ya se veía simplemente genial, pero para darle un aspecto mejor, comencé a colorearlo para que se viera mucho mejor. Usé la técnica de pintado en seco para algunas cosas y pintura diluida para otras partes del cuerpo.
