My Hive Goals (Week 34, 2024)
This is a short sum-up table with the state of my goals in easier TLDR form. The table has only a general overview, with details expanded in the post.

HBD in Savings Bull Market End Goal: 5,000 HBD
This multi-year goal morphed from what previously was the 52-week HBD Savings challenge, which was stopped.
As I mentioned at the beginning of this new goal, this is a longer term goal and I don't expect regular pushes toward the target, but rather no or low activity for most of the time, and bursts of HBD added in short time spans later on.
There is no evolution compared to last week, and that's normal:
HIVE Purchased Below 20c
This is my new temporary goal, which is HIVE oriented this time:
- Buy at least 50 HIVE every week while the price of HIVE is below 20 cents
The past week the price of HIVE moved above 20c, but now is below again, so this temporary goal continues without any changes for the time being.

Posting & Commenting Goal
I haven't missed a daily post this year yet. Reached 1893 posts published, with 112 left to hit the target in 2024. That puts the progress at 68% where 65.38% was needed to be in the green.
Here's the situation so far:
I haven't missed any edition of Week through Adrian's Lenses in 2024 either, and I mention this since it's also part of my posting goal. Overall, I reached the 85th edition of the weekly roundup which debuted at the beginning of 2023.
I also started the week with 20,014 comments made. Ended the week with 20090 which means I made 76 comments last week, which is way below the weekly average needed to reach the comments target by the end of the year.
I currently need an average of 107 comments weekly to reach the comments target by the end of the year.
LEO Staked
My LEO stake grew to 24,600 LP after the LPUD, with 3k delegated to one of the winners of the LPUD prizes. I started using liquid LEO to pair them with LBI in that new diesel pool. I have added LEO in the diesel pool with LBI. For the time being I'll probably stop at 50 LBI in the pool because I'll need to save LEO for LPUD.
Here's the current situation:
If I participate in the future LPUDs as before, with 200 LEO power-ups, and nothing else staked throughout the months, this goal should be completed in October.
Splinterlands: Increase Grain PP to 400,000
Goal started in week 19.
What's the progress so far?
Started previous week at 358,183 PP. Today's number is 371,405 PP. That's +13,222 PP, which is well above my needed average (as mentioned in my previous report, it was expected since I changed the work type on a few natural plots from research to grain). I need +1813 PP weekly to complete this goal until mid-December (my deadline is end of year, but I chose mid-December to push myself a bit).
The major bottleneck for me here is and has always been for land staked DEC.
Land Plots Unlocked - Completed
Goal completed in Week 18, with the following situation at the time:
73 plots were productive and 27 were still under construction.
Currently, 99 plots are productive out of 100, with 1 still under construction (still clearing). No plots became productive this week.
ZING Multiplier - Completed
Goal completed in week 10 with 25,203 ZING.
Since then, I slowly grew my stash from staking rewards only. Waiting for sales.
My ZING holdings are now at 27,658.

We saw Hive moved up a little and within me, I was happy that it's going to crawl out from that pit(0.19) and no, it went back 😅.
It may still go above next 20c this week or the next. Let's also remember SPS DAO will have to (buy, I assume) and power up 1 million HIVE.

And I appreciate this accomplishment. Since this weekend, I've been sick and can't sit (or stand) more than a few minutes without great effort and pain. I can use some pain killers and get the relief, but I decided to give my immunity the chance to fight this one on its own. And it does, but that makes me feel tired most of the time. I'd say tomorrow should be the last day before resuming a more normal routine. That allowed me to listen to a few good podcasts and maybe relax my mind more than usually, which seems like a good break.
Oh, I'm sorry that you were sick... I was many times sick in the summer and it sucks much more than in winter...

Probably not a great time to push hard for a HBD goal, that's why I changed my 52-week challenge to this one which is more in the long term and without a weekly pressure.

Aye aye. I agree as well, it's probably not the best time to be pushing for HBD, if for something, one should be pushing for enough liquidity for the coming run..

Very nice progress! Having 2K HBD will be a nice little nest egg saved away! It's not a bad idea to keep buying Hive while it's cheap, it's not going to stay that way forever and some serious profit to be made!

Much of that HBD will turn back into HIVE Power (or something else usually from the Hive ecosystem) when the time will come.
And yes, I intend to continue buying HIVE while it's under 20c.

It is true that as long as the price is low, if anyone has money, they should definitely invest.
Author rewards or other sources from the ecosystem can do it. Doesn't have to be fiat, even if that would help a lot.
It seems like a pretty nice idea to cap the price of Hive. I think Hive under 20 cents is pretty cheap. I deposited my HBD into savings due to the interest rate drop and my goal, but I wonder if I should wait till later in the year to add. Buy hive cheaper while its low.
Hard to say... There might be a better window of opportunity in September a week or so after Hivefest. Mostly since it's September, and we know that's not great for crypto.
