My Hive Goals (Week 39, 2024)

This is a short sum-up table with the state of my goals in easier TLDR form. The table has only a general overview, with details expanded in the post.

HBD in Savings at the Bull Market End Goal: 5,000 HBD

This multi-year goal morphed from what previously was the 52-week HBD Savings challenge, which was stopped (after week 33).

This is a longer term goal and I don't expect regular pushes toward the target, but rather no or low activity for most of the time, and bursts of HBD added in short time spans later on, toward the end of the bull market.

No change compared to last week, which is normal:

HIVE Purchased Below 20c - Completed

This was a temporary goal, HIVE-oriented:

• Buy at least 50 HIVE every week while the price of HIVE is below 20 cents

HIVE is above 20c and unlikely to go back down so I will consider this temporary goal completed. This doesn't mean that I stop buying HIVE, I just won't have a goal for it. For example, I purchased over 80 HIVE so far today (without considering Hive-Engine transactions, which are HIVE-positive too, at this time).

Final situation of HIVE purchases during this temporary goal:

Total HIVE Purchased: 605.555

Posting & Commenting Goal

I haven't missed a daily post this year yet. Reached 1928 posts published, with 77 left to hit the target in 2024. That puts the progress at 78% where 75.00% was needed to be in the green.

Here's the situation so far:

I haven't missed any edition of Week through Adrian's Lenses in 2024 either, and I mention this since it's also part of my posting goal. Overall, I reached the 90th edition of the weekly roundup which debuted at the beginning of 2023.

I also started the week with 20,356 comments made. Ended the week with 20407 which means I made only 51 comments last week, which is way below my weekly average this year.

LEO Staked

My LEO stake remained at 24,800 LP, with 3k delegated to one of the winners of the LPUD prizes. I still added more LEO to the LEO-LBI pool, but now stopped, and I am saving for the LPUD that will help me reach my LEO stake goal this year.

Here's the current situation:

Next month, with another 200 powered up on LPUD I'll complete my LEO Staked goal for 2024.

NEW Splinterlands: 200k Staked SPS

It was about time to push on the SPS front after a good while of ignoring it as a goal to favor land and... staked DEC, practically against the market. This goal probably comes too late and my land push was too soon. Who knows, maybe I'll be pushing on Splinter-land in 2040 too? 😵 Ironically, that would be kind of ok because it would mean Splinterlands would still be around in 2040...

But to cut my comments short, I am still below 200k SPS, a milestone I should have reached a long time ago if I hadn't focused on land. It's time to rectify that and switch.

I started the week with roughly 180k SPS, so I'll still need about 20k SPS until the end of the year.

Goal started in week 39.

I need roughly 1538 SPS weekly to complete this goal in 2024.

Today, I staked an additional 1649 SPS, and reached 181,976 SPSP.

Here's the situation so far:

I'll have to see how this looks in a few weeks, but it doesn't look like this is going to be an easy goal.

Splinterlands: Increase Grain PP to 400,000 - Completed

Goal started in week 19 and competed in week 39.

Which is the final status for this target?

Started previous week at 389,220 PP. Today's number is 411,721 PP. That's +22,501 PP, which is way above my needed average (I changed the reward on 4 additional low-end PP plots from research to grain to complete it this week).

The major bottleneck for me here is and has always been for land staked DEC.

Land Plots Unlocked - Completed

Goal completed in Week 18, with the following situation at the time:

73 plots were productive and 27 were still under construction.

All plots are productive as of week 35. Now I need way more DEC to stake better PP cards on my lower-end land plots.

ZING Multiplier - Completed

Goal completed in week 10 with 25,203 ZING.

Since then, I slowly grew my stash from staking rewards only. Waiting for sales.

My ZING holdings are now at 28,327.
