My Hive Goals (Week 40, 2024)
This is a short sum-up table with the state of my goals in easier TLDR form. The table has only a general overview, with details expanded in the post.

HBD in Savings at the Bull Market End Goal: 5,000 HBD
This multi-year goal morphed from what previously was the 52-week HBD Savings challenge, which was stopped (after week 33).
This is a longer term goal and I don't expect regular pushes toward the target, but rather no or low activity for most of the time, and bursts of HBD added in short time spans later on, toward the end of the bull market.
Compared to last week, I received interest on the already staked HBD, but haven't staked any additional HBD:
HIVE Purchased Below 20c - Completed
This was a temporary goal, HIVE-oriented:
- Buy at least 50 HIVE every week while the price of HIVE is below 20 cents
Contrary to my expectations, HIVE dipped below 20c again this week, moving with the market. I still consider this goal completed, but since the price is still slightly below 20c after the recent dip, I'll push another purchase toward this temporary goal.
Final situation of HIVE purchases during this temporary goal:
Total HIVE Purchased: 655.635
Posting & Commenting Goal
I haven't missed a daily post this year yet. Reached 1935 posts published, with 70 left to hit the target in 2024. That puts the progress at 80% where 76.92% was needed to be in the green.
Here's the situation so far:
I haven't missed any edition of Week through Adrian's Lenses in 2024 either, and I mention this since it's also part of my posting goal. Overall, I reached the 91st edition of the weekly roundup which debuted at the beginning of 2023.
I also started the week with 20,407 comments made. Ended the week with 20475 which means I made only 68 comments last week, which is way below my weekly average this year.
LEO Staked
My LEO stake remained at 24,800 LP, with 3k delegated to one of the winners of the LPUD prizes.I am saving for the LPUD that will help me reach my LEO stake goal this year.
Here's the current situation:
Next month, with another 200 powered up on LPUD I'll complete my LEO Staked goal for 2024.
Splinterlands: 200k Staked SPS
Goal started in week 39 with roughly 180k SPS (before staking liquid SPS).
I started last week with 181,976 SPSP and finished it with 183,267 SPSP, which means I added 1291 SPSP last week and today.
I need roughly 1416 SPS weekly to complete this goal in 2024, so I need to push it harder.
Here's the situation so far:
I'll have to see how this looks in a few weeks, but it doesn't look like this is going to be an easy goal.
Splinterlands: Increase Grain PP to 400,000 - Completed
Goal started in week 19 and competed in week 39.
Which is the final status for this target?
Started previous week at 389,220 PP. Today's number is 411,721 PP. That's +22,501 PP, which is way above my needed average (I changed the reward on 4 additional low-end PP plots from research to grain to complete it this week).
The major bottleneck for me here is and has always been for land staked DEC.
Land Plots Unlocked - Completed
Goal completed in Week 18, with the following situation at the time:
73 plots were productive and 27 were still under construction.
All plots are productive as of week 35. Now I need way more DEC to stake better PP cards on my lower-end land plots.
ZING Multiplier - Completed
Goal completed in week 10 with 25,203 ZING.
Since then, I slowly grew my stash from staking rewards only. Waiting for sales.
My ZING holdings are now at 28,442.

Your goals are impressive and you're doing alright so far. I mean it's inspiring to see how far you've gone with them. I hope you continue the streaks till the year's end. Thanks for writing.

It looks like decent progress towards your goal. However, I think the year is closing in. I think it's about time to figure out or focus on a few because there are only a few more months in the year.
I like that the price of Hive dropped. Some of my orders from the previous few weeks filled and I think it's nice that we can continue to stock up on some cheap Hive.
In a week, I'll have only 3 goals left, HBD, SPS, and posting&commenting. HBD will most likely be for next year since it's a multi-year goal and I won't push HIVE into HBD at these prices, SPS - I'll likely achieve it even if it might not be an easy one, what I won't achieve is comments made, but otherwise I have good chances of achieving everything else that's under that goal, and it wasn't an easy goal at all.

Congratulations on your total purchased Hive. I still don't think I have enough, but unfortunately the funds are limited, all HBD goals now seems unprofitable, unless one is buying maybe May or June Next year

Yep, I don't intend to push anything to my HBD stash this year most likely.
I think there's still time till the end of October and even November to an extent. The market is still flat and anyone can still ape in at the moment.
That's if the market is waiting for the conclusion in the US elections, thinking one option is better than the other for crypto. Otherwise I don't see a reason to wait till November...
