My Hive Goals (Week 43, 2024)
This is a short sum-up table with the state of my goals in easier TLDR form. The table has only a general overview, with details expanded in the post.

HBD in Savings at the Bull Market End Goal: 5,000 HBD
This multi-year goal morphed from what previously was the 52-week HBD Savings challenge, which was stopped (after week 33).
This is a longer term goal and I don't expect regular pushes toward the target, but rather no or low activity for most of the time, and bursts of HBD added in short time spans later on, toward the end of the bull market.
As mentioned last week, I paid 80 HBD from my HBD savings for additional Holozing Vials, with the plan to add back the HBD from author rewards, for now. I did just that this week and added 14.661 HBD from author rewards to the HBD savings, with this result:
HIVE Purchased Below 20c - Completed
This was a temporary goal, HIVE-oriented:
- Buy at least 50 HIVE every week while the price of HIVE is below 20 cents
Final situation of HIVE purchases during this temporary goal:
Total HIVE Purchased: 705.731
Posting & Commenting Goal
I haven't missed a daily post this year yet. Reached 1956 posts published, with 49 left to hit the target in 2024. That puts the progress at 86% where 82.69% was needed to be in the green.
Here's the situation so far:
I haven't missed any edition of Week through Adrian's Lenses in 2024 either, and I mention this since it's also part of my posting goal. Overall, I reached the 94th edition of the weekly roundup which debuted at the beginning of 2023.
I also started the week with 20,605 comments made. Ended the week with 20678 which means I made 73 comments last week.
LEO Staked - Completed
Goal of 25000 staked LEO achieved on week 42 (started from the beginning of the year).
Here's the final situation:
I will continue to participate on LPUDs monthly with 150 LEOs, even though my goal for 2024 has been achieved.
Splinterlands: 200k Staked SPS
Goal started in week 39 with roughly 180k SPS (before staking liquid SPS).
I started last week with 185,881 SPSP and finished it with 187,332 SPSP, which means I added 1,451 SPSP last week and today.
I need an average of roughly 1,408 SPS weekly to complete this goal in 2024, which means this week was a little above average.
Here's the situation so far:
Splinterlands: Increase Grain PP to 400,000 - Completed
Goal started in week 19 and competed in week 39.
Which is the final status for this target?
Final grain production was 411,721 PP.
The major bottleneck for me here is and has always been for land staked DEC.
Land Plots Unlocked - Completed
Goal completed in Week 18, with the following situation at the time:
73 plots were productive and 27 were still under construction.
All plots are productive as of week 35. Now I need way more DEC to stake better PP cards on my lower-end land plots.
ZING Multiplier - Completed
Goal completed in week 10 with 25,203 ZING.
Since then, I slowly grew my stash from staking and collection rewards (achievements) only.
I now hold 5 alpha energy vials. I debated with myself the whole week and even today if I should buy more or not. My temporary conclusion is no. I'm chasing too many rabbits at the end of this year.
My ZING holdings are now at 32,320.

Sometimes I wonder myself how I'm doing it... It's not like there weren't some situations when it was easier to skip a daily post.
The SPS goal is a little farther than I would have liked.
Great work, that HBD stack is growing nicely! And you already finished almost every other goal except the SPS which shouldn't be too bad.

The SPS goal can be easier or harder. Depends on what I decide to use to buy more.
That is some good progress. I guess that HBD savings did come in helpful. The 3 day withdraw period makes it easier to use compared to HP where you have a longer wait time.
HBD savings certainly were helpful. And they will be in the future too.
Congratulations on 200k staked SPS, what a way to go. I think it was a smart investment choices buying some vials with your HBD I think it's a genuine diversification of portfolio, Hopefully it pays off good.
Not there yet! But hopefully by the end of the year, I will.
I think so too. But it's also a game it's very likely I will play, so it's both an investment and entertainment.
